Virgil's heart-monitor started spiking and he quickly withdrew from Roman's face, sitting straight up in his hospital bed and slapping his hand over his forehead in disbelief, "Holy shit."

Roman leaned back in his swivel chair, "Oh my stars."

Virgil stared down at his lap, hyperventilating just a bit.

"Oh my-" Roman shook his head before smiling widely and kicking back against the side of Virgil's bed, spinning away with his arms in the hair, "HAZZAH!"

Virgil watched through a smiling, red face.

Roman came to a slow stop, panting, and looking right at Virgil.

"You good?" Virgil cocked an eyebrow at Roman.

"Good? Good is an understatement." Roman grinned widely and wheeled himself back to the bedside of Virgil's.

"Yeah?" Virgil couldn't help but keep smiling.

"That was- oh stars- oh-" Roman felt dizzy, "I think I'm going to pass out."

"That's- not good." Virgil chuckled.

"It's wonderful." Roman looked up at Virgil with an even wider smile.

"Wow..." Virgil sighed, "Damn it, Ro, you're making it so hard not to be emo right now."

"Well, I should take that as a success." Roman laughed.

"I- really don't know what to do now." Virgil continued to smile.

"Well, if you weren't in the hospital for an infected, and quite broken, leg, I would ask you out." Roman looked down at his lap.

"You- would?" Virgil fidgeted.

"Of course." Roman nodded.

"You're- okay with being...gay? I mean- publicly?" Virgil blinked.

"Yes- I mean, definitely yes, Virgil- I'm part of the drama department after all." Roman cracked a grin.

Virgil's smile got even wider, "O-Oh okay..."

"This is probably the most...emotional I've ever seen you- positively emotional at least." Roman pointed out.

"Yeah...well, I'm not given too many reasons to smile, now am I?" Virgil's smile faltered for a moment.

"Then I can be your reason?" Roman suggested.

"You already are, Princey." Virgil held out his hand.

Roman looked at the hand and gave it a high five.

Virgil paused, "I wasn't asking for a high five- here," Virgil grabbed Roman's hand and laced their fingers.

Roman felt his hand begin to tingle at the contact, "Oh."

Virgil paused, "What do we do about Tom?"

Roman flinched, "Oh...I suppose...we'll have I tell the director."

"I agree." Virgil huffed, "I want him to get kicked from the cast."

Roman nodded, "He deserves that at the least."

"Mhm." Virgil rolled his eyes, "All because he was jealous."

"About that...jealous of what, exactly?" Roman bit his lip.

"Is that not obvious?" Virgil snickered.

"I suppose it's not." Roman shrugged.

"He caught onto the fact that I liked you, and I think he believe you liked me back, so I suppose he decided he'd get rid of me." Virgil's breath came out shakily.

"...So it's my fault?" Roman grimaced.

"What? No." Virgil shook his head.

"That bastard is as good as dead." Roman growled.

"No, he's not, it's not worth it." Virgil shrugged.

"He deserves to feel the same pain." Roman glared.

"It doesn't matter what he deserves." Virgil sighed.

"Fine." Roman mumbled.

"Thank you." Virgil nodded.

Roman nodded back.

Just then a voice rang out over the intercom.

"Visiting hours will be over in five minutes, please start heading for the lobby, thank you."

Within the minute, Logan and Patton burst in, Patton dragging Logan by the hand.

"Oooo Logan was right!" Patton gasped when he saw Virgil and Roman holding hands.

Roman shook his head, "Wait what?"

Virgil pulled his hand away slowly.

"He said we should leave because you two were showing the same signs of affection that we show each other!" Patton giggled.

Logan nodded, "This is true."

"Really?" Virgil chuckled.

"So~o, are you two bo~oyfriends now?" Patton winked multiple times.

Virgil looked to Roman the same moment Roman looked to Virgil, both boys speaking at the same time, "Um..."

"I- mean- if you...want to?" Virgil blinked.

"Uh, do you want to?" Roman clicked his tongue.

"I Uh...Yeah." Virgil nodded.

"Yeah." Roman chuckled.

"Awwwwwww! It's gay!" Patton squealed.

"You're Gay." Virgil rolled his eyes.

"That's a fact!" Patton nodded surely.

"Visiting hours will end in one minute, please make your way to the lobby, thank you!"

"We'd better get going." Roman sighed, getting up.

Logan and Patton nodded, heading out.

"...Feel better." Roman gave a weak smile.

"I'll try." Virgil nodded.

"Bye, Love." Roman dipped out of the room and shut the door behind him.

Virgil let out a small squeak that Roman was just able to hear.

Roman laughed just a bit before catching up to Logan and Patton.

They walked in silence before Patton spoke up.

"Tom did it, didn't he?" Patton's voice was quiet.

"You knew?" Roman looked a bit surprise.

"Who doesn't know that Tom Reece is a complete and utter dick?" Logan cocked an eyebrow.

"Me, I guess...." Roman looked down at the floor, guiltily.

"I mean, he's been bullying Virgil for some time now." Patton whimpered.

"How so?" Roman furrowed his brow.

"Well, he's been sticking notes on his bag like fag and- other really...naughty things- and he threw his backpack in a puddle the other day and-"

"What the hell?" Roman felt rage grow in him.

"He hurt me too..." Patton shivered, "Gave me swirlies when I was a freshman.

Logan looked a bit bothered by this.

"He's hurt a lot of people..." Patton sniffed just a bit.

"So, what are you going to do?" Logan looked to Roman.

Roman stopped.

"I'm going to beat the living shit out of him."
