Chapter 30 🌙

Recap: Sakura stares at me with wide eyes before taking a slow step backwards, I smirk as teasingly take one step forwards. "What Sakura? You don't want a round two?"

Kakashi narrows his eyes at both Shinji and I, obviously not in the mood to play games. "Haru, YOURE WITH THE AKATSUKI?!" Naruto rages, his eyes turning sharp and his fists clenching at his sides. I unzip my cloak only the slightest bit so they could see my face. 

I look down at my cloak and ring only to mockingly smile "I don't know, you tell me." Theres a tense pause before Naruto lashes out again. "YOU LEFT US FOR THIS?!" He yells. Shinji and I both let out matching smirks to which Kakashi internally cringes. 

"Damn right I did, best decision ever." I answer, knowingly pushing his buttons. "You know Naru." I start, my smirk vanishing from my face as I begin walking around. "In the Akatsuki, my best friend takes my side on things." I continue, staring stoically at his face. 

"My best friend doesn't defend people who obviously have it out for me." I say, adding fuel to the fire. "My best friend doesn't have hypocritical crushes on me." I continue, arching a brow when I see the realization morph into Naruto's face. 

"Are you. . Are you saying I never defended you?" He gruffly asks. I mockingly bring my hands up and start clapping, Shinji coincidentally doing the same thing at the same time. 

I hate when we do things at the same time, that leads people to think we're twins or something. Shinji and I have already had two victims ask if we were twins because of our matching mannerisms. 

Yikes. 

"You actually caught on, I'm impressed." Shinji says, tone full of sarcasm. "Haru whats the point of this?" Kakashi sensei harshly interrupts, without a doubt making up a bunch of plans in his mind. 

"Well aren't you the best uncle ever." Shinji blandly states, eyes rolling when he talks. I look at Shinji weirdly "How did you know he's our uncle?" 

"Research, duh." 

Suddenly a bunch of kunai are whirled at us, neither one of us move as our wings emerge from our backs quickly and cover us simultaneously. Shinji begins to chuckles as our wings spread out and he eyes team seven, who are all in attack mode. 

"Was that supposed to be effective?" He questions before eyeing my wings. "No fair, I like the color of yours more." He says, giving zero attention to the leaf shinobi. I sigh and cross my arms over my chest. "Yeah but yours are wayy cooler, I mean look at how big they are!"

"WHY ARE THEY PAYING ZERO ATTENTION TO US?!" Naruto rages, thoroughly annoyed at our lack on interest. Kakashi doesn't answer his student but instead analyzes the giant wings made of crystal. Mines are red with a fuchsia reflection, Shinji's are blue with a greenish reflection. 

So pretty!

His are much bigger and powerful though, being the host of Karasu grants him the ability to be a lot more versatile with his wings. Suddenly Sakura appears from behind Shinji alongside Naruto.

Sakura punches one of Shinji's wings with great force making a crack while two of Naruto's clones rasengan the other wing, completely destroying it. Shinji rolls his eyes at the two ninja who are now standing fiercely back next to Kakashi. 

"Again, was that supposed to make me laugh? Because seriously I don't like tickles." he claims before chakra begins to grow out of his back, molding his wings back to perfection as if nothing ever happened. 

I smile at Sakura teasingly "Oh? You actually tried? Why don't you go one on one with me I promise this time I might go easy." Sakura quite literally flinches away from me to which I laugh cruelly.
