It was all hitting Kaine now, last night he agreed to give Ryan a chance which means they'll probably be at dating status soon but what about Seth? Kaine is no cheater but Seth's all he's ever wanted he can't stop what they have going on now, what will he do? how will this get handled? someone's gonna end up hurt "it's looking good so far, don't you think?" Kaine and Ryan sat in Ryan's apartment working on the project which was very hard to do because they couldn't keep their hands off of each other

"Yeah it looks good" Kaine agrees staring at Ryan

"Good enough to get a reward?"

Kaine laughs "you want a reward for writing a good paper?" Ryan shook his head "alright come here" Kaine and Ryan move closer and their lips were inches away from each other when Kaine's phone rings "hold on a sec" he grabs his phone from his pocket

'Yes Seth'

'When are you getting home I'm bored' Kaine rolled his eyes

'I told you I'd be home late so find something to do' Kaine hangs up turning back to Ryan

"You should go to him sounds like he needs you," Ryan says before Kaine could kiss him

"Seth will be fine he's grown" Kaine moves closer and Ryan backs up

"Yeah but I feel like he's just gonna keep calling and we can finish this later"

"You sure?"

"Yeah, go ahead" Kaine grabs his things. turning back Kaine kisses Ryan and leaves

"Must you be this annoying?" Kaine asks walking in his apartment, Seth walks from the kitchen eating a pop tart "would you stop eating my pop tarts!?" Kaine grabs it from his hand shoving it into his mouth. Kaine laughs and starts choking

"That's what you get" Seth laughs back as Kaine struggles to swallow. Kaine walks away heading to his room putting his bag down and exciting to Seth in the living room "can't believe you actually came home"

"Ryan told me to and I know if I didn't you'd just keep calling"

"Damn right" Seth agrees

"And you claim you're not jealous"

"I'm not I just don't like that Ryan guy for you"

"and who do you like for me?"

"Me" Seth smiles at Kaine

"Says the guy with a girlfriend" Kaine retorts

"Just give me some time Kaine it'll all be as it should" Kaine didn't know what that meant but he didn't bother asking either. Sitting next to Seth on the couch Kaine pulls the remote from his hand and presses the DVR button

"Who the hell deleted all of my recordings?" Seth gets up

"Wasn't me"

"Then who?!"

"Probably Cathy" Kaine's blood boils at the sound of her name

"Seriously that girl has no home training what the hell do you see in her?" Seth doesn't answer instead he goes to the kitchen and gets a cup of water.

Kaine and Seth spent the rest of the night watching tv and bonding reminding Kaine exactly why he loves Seth. Laying in Seth's lap Kaine falls asleep, Seth looks down at him caressing his face as Kaine peacefully sleeps. Seth was confused now more than ever, he was falling for Kaine and he doesn't know how to handle it, Seth is scared of choosing Kaine and being ridiculed by everyone that's why he stays with Cathy but he loves her too he just doesn't know if he's in love with her anymore.

"How did I get into bed last night?" Kaine woke up next to Seth in his bed

"I carried you"

"Really?" Seth's stronger than Kaine thought

"Yeah" he replies getting up walking towards the bathroom, Kaine lays in bed for a second just reminiscing about last night he gets up and walks to the bathroom opening the door to find Seth brushing his teeth, standing behind Seth wrapping his arms around his waist Kaine says

"Don't you just wish it was us like this all the time?" Seth doesn't budge or replies he just keeps brushing his teeth so Kaine adds "don't you want this?"

Seth doesn't know how to answer not wanting to send out mix signals "I told you already Kaine I just need some time"

"How much time?" Kaine asks letting go

"I don't know" Seth shrugs

Kaine was getting impatient and he thinks what he's about to do will help push them alone, so he admits  "Ryan wants me to give him a chance"

"What do you mean?" Seth turns to him placing his toothbrush down

"I mean he wants us to start dating"

"And what did you say?"

"I told him yes"

Not turning to look at him Seth replies "oh" that hurts Seth and Kaine could tell. 

Seth pulls down his shorts about to get in the shower but Kaine quickly stops him "but I didn't really mean it, I mean it kinda did but it's not serious or anything."

"It's ok Kaine you like him and I can tell he likes you, who am I to say anything I have a girlfriend remember?"

"How can I forget" Kaine walks out shutting the bathroom door behind him.

Kaine and Seth get ready for class without saying another word to each other. "I'll see you later," Seth says before leaving.

This was not the reaction neither of them wanted from that news.
