The two days they've been back together felt so real to Kaine, this was really happening and he couldn't be any happier. With Cathy out of the picture and people actually knowing that Seth was all Kaine's there was nothing more Kaine could ask for.

"Get up we have class today" Kaine shakes Seth who's faking his sleep

"10 more minutes please" Seth begs with his eyes closed

"No there's not enough time" Kaine climbs on top of Seth

"I'd rather wake up for this," he says moving towards Kaine and Kaine pulls away

"Of course you would" Kaine climbs off "now get up"

"Fine but if I die while I'm out there it's all on you"

"You're not going to die" Seth is actually afraid of going to school, facing people is something he is not ready to do. Kaine could tell Seth's scared by the way he was looking at himself in the mirror, Kaine stands behind him leaning on his back "nothing's going to happen Seth, and if it does I'm here and I'm not going anywhere" Seth smiles turning and kissing Kaine then going back to brushing his teeth.

They both get ready and leave together hand in hand but sadly had to part ways because they had different courses. Seth isn't embarrassed about what he did he just didn't think of the consequences, losing his friends and hurting Cathy. He walks into the building with his head held high but his confidence disappears when he is pushed by an angry Cathy "the fucking nerve!" she barks as he turns around

"Cathy..."

"NO! don't you fucking Cathy me you homo. HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO ME?!" she yells

"The hell did I do to you, Cathy?"

"How could you embarrass me like that? Do you know the shit I went through this weekend telling people that I didn't know anything, that I'm as fucking clueless as they are?" She stops waiting for an answer

"Cathy let me explain," he says quietly moving towards her

She backs up "no let me explain, you don't get to put me through that and think we're all a-ok, you're gonna pay trust me" she turns to leave but turns back curious "was this about him?"

"About who?"

"KAINE!" she yells "was all that shit about him?" Seth gets quiet "of course it was that's why you started to act differently when that guy came around, you were jealous" she laughs "how long have you been in love with Kaine?" Cathy asks putting love in air quotes

"I don't know" Seth replies looking away

"What do you fucking know Seth?" Seth knows that he's never seen her this angry before "I can't believe I loved you, you sick freak" Seth stands there and lets her yell because he knows that she has a right to be angry. Afterwards, she walks away leaving him standing there with everyone staring, deciding he's better off home than class Seth leaves the building.

"If I were you I'd keep my guards up" Emma runs up behind Kaine as he is walking to his next class

"Why?"

"Word is that Seth's just had a run-in with the ex and now she's looking for you" Emma replies

Kaine gets scared not for himself but for Seth, he knows Seth doesn't know how to handle bad situations. pulling out his phone Kaine calls Seth but no answer and now he's worried even more "I gotta go" he turns around leaving school to go find Seth

"Wait where are you going?!"

"Home!" Kaine yells as he runs away. Reaching home Kaine quickly unlocks the door to find Seth walking from the kitchen with Kaine's pop tart in his hand. Kaine walks over and punches him in the arm

"OW!" Seth yells and Kaine laughs "what was that for?"

"For making me so worried about you and for eating my pop tart"

Seth laughs then stops "wait why were you worried?"

"Why aren't you at school?" Kaine narrows his eyes and Seth walks away suspiciously taking a bite out of the pop tart. "I heard about Cathy" Kaine walks over to Seth

"Yeah she basically yelled and called me names"

"Is that why you're not at school?"

"Yeah, is that why you were worried?"

"No, I was worried that you'd do something stupid" Seth grabs Kaine's face

"have some faith in me" then pecks him on the lips

"I do" Kaine replies "I just wouldn't want anything to happen to you"

"And nothing will." Both boys skip the rest of the day staying on the couch all day watching tv and when night came they fall asleep in each other's arms.
