Chapter Twenty Four

Mackenzie's POV

I woke up to my phone buzzing. It was a text from Logan.

-Good morning, Mackenzie.:)-

I quickly responded.

-You can call me Kenz;)-

-Okay! Do you want to hang out today?-

-Of course! Mind if my roommate comes?-

-As long as she doesn't kill me...-

-Not funny! She's cool.-

-Okaaaay. Get dressed, I'll be there in ten:)-

-Ten?!?!? Ugh, okay!-

I quickly threw on a green shirt with black skinny jeans and black vans. I brushed my hair and my teeth.

"Bri, wake up!" I yelled.

"What? It's like eight." She mumbled.

"Can you guys shut up? I'm trying to sleep." Alissa asked.

"Can you stop being a bitch? I'm trying to-"

"Shut up, nobody cares."

"God, you think you're such a badass, it's funny." I mumbled.

"Excuse me? I could knock your ass out in one punch." She smirked.

"OKAY. I'd love to see you try." I giggled. "Bri, just get dressed and let's go."

"I just might, you wimp." She shuffled out of bed to stand next to me.

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes.

"Exactly, you're just scared."

"Alissa, stop, Mackenzie probably would beat you up." Bri chimed in.

"What would you know, baby Bri?" She smirked.

"Baby Bri? That's the best you got?" I laughed. "And I can assure you I'm not scared."

"Then hit me, if you're not scared." She crossed her arms.

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me. If you're not scared, then hit me."

"I'm not going to just hit you. You're a pathetic little smart ass that's not worth my time. Sorry, Bri and I should go now."

"Oh, Kenzie, you're going to regret that."

"No, I probably won't." I smirked.

She reached back. I knew what she was going to do. I accepted it. She punched me.

"Let's go, Bri." I said.

"To wimpy to even hit back." Alissa laughed.

Bri and I walked out and I saw Logan.

"Are you okay? What happened?" He asked.

"Nothing, I'm fine."

"You're lip is bleeding. You're not fine."

"Alissa hit her. Why didn't you hit her back, Kenz?" Bri asked.

"Wait, who's Alissa?" Logan asked.

"Doesn't matter. I'll get her back. Don't worry." I smirked.
