Holiday Special 3: New Year's Eve

Tonight is new year's eve and at exactly 12:00 midnight, everyone will welcome the new year with a big smile in our face, making a noise to ward off evil spirits and or to embrace the fortune's coming for this coming year, and the most important, to watch those big, and beautiful fireworks in the sky.

I went to Kyle's room who was spending his time playing with his wand (training magic). Without knocking, I open his room and went inside.

I saw him sitting on his bed, swaying his wand while murmuring until the tip of the wand shines of color blue indicating that he is a blue mage and a whirlwind shows up and this wind from the small size of a fist turned into as big as his head. His face is sweating profusely while controlling the wind. His wand is trembling. To make sure that the wand will not fell from his hand, he used both of his hand controlling the wand.

His room started to messed up due to the strong wind. Some of his things are floating away and I felt that anytime soon, I'm going to fly away too.

That wind starting to get strong and it became too hard to walk towards him, making my every step heavier and heavier.

"Kyle!" I yell

He was shocked at first then bit his lips. He can't take away his sight from his spell since he doesn't have full control of the wind.

"O-Oneesama!"

"Did you cast any ban magic spell in your room?"

He bit his lower lip and shook his head, "I'd forgot"

I click my tongue and set a ban in his room. And then help him controlling his wind magic. Unlike other mage, I don't need any magic conductor like wand to cast a magic spell, all I need is to imagine the spell in my head and make a hand gesture. With a bit difficulty, I tried to hold his wind magic using my water element to enclose the wind element.

"Wattahell! Kyle, did you use an intermediate spell?!"

He flinched. "I'm sorry o-oneesama. I-I just w-want..."

"I thought you're smart enough to know that studying higher magic spell without guidance is forbidden!"

"I'm... I'm s-sorry"

"Forget it! The most important right now is to help you control this whirlwind. Darn! It is hard sonce you're already blue mage and I'm still orange" the gap was too big

"S-Sorry"

I ignore him since I focus myself in this wind. I concentrate in this whirlwind and if I am correct, in physics, the air is composed of gasses maybe if I breakdown this gasses, maybe I can help him control his magic... but there is also a way to control his wind magic spell but it was risky, since his stronger than I am, and that's what I am doing right now. If the air was enclosed in close space, the gasses of the wind will be gone by itself.

I solidified my water magic to turn it into ice and since he was using air, I borrowed his cool wind to make my water into ice.

His wind magic started to weaken but my mana also started to deplete.

"Kyle, now!"

He nodded and with a weaken whirlwind, it became easier for him to control the spell until it size became smaller and smaller then puff, it was gone.

I collapse on the floor, gasping for air. My mana was really depleted and so, I crossed sit and started to replenish my mana, Kyle done the same thing.
