Everyone inside the ball were shocked with her words as she were the fairy's royal messenger who has suddenly take a visits in the kingdom were enough to make everyone excited but hearing her words that she is my friend, I, Celine la Valkhyne's friend was that it mean? That they personally came here because of me.

It felt that I am a big shot within fairies' domain and having fairies visits a land you own especially for a king, it was really a blessing needs to be celebrated.

The King gently looks at me and asked, "I did not know that your fairy friend is coming today, you should have told me as I am like a father to you ha ha ha"

I twitched hearing him. I knew that politicians especially aristocrat or nobility were number one hypocrite but I did not know that they also have a really thick face.

But I still maintain my refined smile as I look at them

Rose indifferently smiles at the king. "Your majesty, the real reason this fairy lady came to this human kingdom and meets you, a human king is for my human little friend, Celine". She gently smiles at me, "you, humans may not know this but we, fairies' are not an ungrateful race who doesn't show and gives our gratitude to our family's benefactor. And now, our little friend is in need of help, we are here to help her to break this engagement".

When the king heard this, his dignified aura replaced with anger but his face still maintain the gentle smile he had from the very beginning while the everyone's face inside the ballroom showed shock and disbelief for my guts of dissolving the engagement and started to buzz another gossip.

For a couple of minutes, the king cleared his throat to get our attention back to him but no one heard him as they continue to talk about this shocking event.

"Silence" when they heard the King's roar, they all quiet down and look at his majesty. The King maintained his dignified and gentle smile and explained, "Lady Rose, it is not that I, the king don't want to listen to you but I, as a king already gives my word for this engagement. I, as a king don't want my people thinks that I, as a king back down with every word I say. I hope you understand"

Rose nodded. "We fairies understand what you mean is that is why my King and Queen wanted to give you a gift for compensation and helps us dissolve the said engagement"

Lily, who was with them, brought out a gem-like styled box out of thin air and presents it to Rose.

Rose opened the box and we saw a very exquisite and eye-catching magical staff. It is ice-blue and golden colored staff, engraved with a two dragons in its body, while the mouth of the two dragons was open at the tip of the staff with transparent crystal ball as if the two dragons wanted to eat the crystal ball. At the end of the staff, there is a small blue gem-like small ball.

Everyone's attentions inside the ballroom are all on the magic staff. We can feel the luscious power within the staff and the majestic aura of a dragon.

"T-This..." the king stared at the staff with disbelief and greed as he stutter and continues gulping once he saw the staff.

Rose nodded as she was satisfied with our reaction. "This is 'Twin Moon Dragon Staff' and can make every magic 3x stronger than a normal magic cast. It was made from very rare materials such as the blood and scale of a twin moon dragon. We all know that dragons especially pureblooded dragons are rare and almost legend... this is a rare opportunity your majesty. What do you think?"

I was stunned with what she said.

First, dragons are rare but I just met a dragon months ago even he was injured and imprisoned inside the cave.

Second, not only one dragon but two, a twin dragon with good bloodline is one of the materials made for this staff. Wow

And lastly, it was basically a treasure yet they will give it just to let the king dissolve my marriage. 'My' means 'me'.

Wow. I'm speechless

"Y-You... you'll use this m-magical staff for your human friend. Isn't these staff an important treasure yet you'll just give it away" the king asked while greedily looking at the staff.

Rose nodded. "Yes. This staff is very precious but for us, fairies friends and family is more important than material things like this"

A warm feeling envelop my heart when I heard her word. Tears were forming at the corner of my eyes but a hand wipes it for me as he hugs me. "Shhh. Don't cry as it will break my heart seeing you sad"

I smiled at him and shook my head. "I am not sad. I was just... happy. I never thought that they'll do everything and even giving a treasure just to help me"

Al was silent for a moment before he whisper. "If you don't want them to give that trash, I can help you kill that smug looking king and his stupid prince"

I twitch hearing from him that a treasure like that twin moon dragon staff is a trash and killing the king and William was easy as killing a chicken.

"I think I'm okay" I straightened up before I felt Lily's eye. I look at her and give her my warm smile then I mouth, "thank you"

She winks at me then glance at the king, waiting for the answer.

"Celine is not just a friend and benefactor for us, fairies but a family. If this staff can helps her with letting you breaking this engagement then our trip is worth it" Rose answered then looks at the king to asked, "Will you dissolve the engagement of Celine?"

The king straightened his back. "Very well. I accept your offer", he stood up and looks to everyone, "from this moment on, the engagement between my son, William de Crouzet and Lady Celine la Valkhyne are annulled and void. Henceforth, they will no longer have any relation regarding of this engagement and will maintain the friendship that they have since the beginning. This is a royal decree and whoever disregards this decree shall be punished according to the law"

Rose nodded and gives her courtesy. "I give my thanks to the majesty for listening to this lady's request"

I also followed Rose as I bow and kneel to the king. "I give my thanks to his majesty the king for your venerable and kind heart"

The king nodded and Rose gestures at Lily to give the staff to the king. The royal servant accepted the gift for the king before he gives it to the king.

The party continues like everything that happened was just a dream until we went back home.

Jane and Lara help me with my night bathe and to change into my night dress before I went to sleep.

When morning came, shocking news happened greets me

The prince fell in accident.

Everyone in his palace, attendees, servants and guards, died, flooding his royal palace with blood and leaving no one but him.

The prince did not get any injuries but up until now, he was still unconscious.

Every royal doctor and magical doctor had no idea of what happened to the prince except to the fact that the reason why he was unconscious was because of shocked and trauma he experienced.

The king was furious about this and every royal guards and knight as well as military was commanded to find the culprit behind this incident

When I heard about this, I was speechless but because there is no with this to me, I just shrugged it off and continued my breakfast in good mood.

I have no idea that the culprit behind this incident was beside me and serving me with my tea and gently smiling at me.
