Sebastian stared down the vampire with a stoic and hardened expression, daring it to reply. "About what?" The vampire asked, his lips were curled up like a rabid dog, he held Sebastian's glare never backing down. The vampire may have been on his knees, but he wasn't going to let the man in front of him win.Sebastian narrowed his eyes, so the vampire was going to be difficult, he tilted his head to one side and a loud crack filled the room. His eyes never once left the vampires as he straightened it again, "who turned you into the monster that you have become?" He asked. A pang of pity rang through his soul. He had been in a situation very similar to this.
"Why should I tell you?" The vampire spat as venom dripped from his voice.
Sebastian had two options. He could try and play nice and be sympathetic, or he could try to scare the vampire enough to make him spill. He studied the vampire for a few seconds before leaning back on his haunches, "Well, Issac," he sighed, "if you tell us who did this to you then we can stop others from being inflicted with your curse," he kept his voice soft. The vampire's heartbeat was inhumanly slow. Just as Sebastian though it would never beat again, it did.
The vampire just snorted, "save the heroic talk for someone who will listen,"
Sebastian began to grit his teeth, "fine," he snapped and he leaned in closer to the bloodsucker and grabbed his jaw roughly, pulling him in until they were face to face. Raw anger and power were fouling him and his fuse was burnt out, "Who the heck did that to you?" He snarled, not holding back at all as his grip on the man's jaw tightened.
The vampire's face was warped with terror. Sebastian could see the light of his now golden eyes glowing in the creatures eyes, "y-you," the vampire squeaked, "the brother of a speedster and a monster of the night,"
Sebastian felt a snarl rip from his chest, it was deep and threatening, but it felt so powerful. The vampire seemed to be more terrified than ever, his eyes widened in shock and his slow heart rate picked up slightly. He could hear the vigilantes becoming restless behind him. He was running out of time, "What was that?" He asked. Barry sucked in a deep breath and began to quickly tap fidget with his fingers.
"The king, he told me," the vampire stared Sebastian, "and he was right,"
"The king? The king of what?" He got no reply, a sly smile just crossed the vampires face, "What did this king tell you,"
"He told me how you were going to meet him, and he was right," The vampire hissed, the whites of its eyes filled with blood and his body began to violently shake and shudder.
Sebastian stood back and watched in horror as the vampire collapse to the floor, only to have blood leak from his eyes ears and nose. The trio of vigilantes were by his side in an instant, "What did you so to him?" Barry asked in panic. Alex had her gun out of its holster and ready to fire at any given moment.
"I didn't do that," he gestured to the fitting monster. The creatures blood began to rise up off the floor and float around them in beads of crimson death.
"That can't be a good sign," Cara groaned. The beads began to rush together, above the vampires shaking body. The floated together sending off waves of nauseating power. The team stepped back, holding their breaths as a large oval shape formed from the blood. In a flash of blinding light it transformed into a blood red portal. Barry and Cara shared a look of terror and surprise.
Very suddenly a pale and bones hand reached out of the breach, in its grasp was a vile of red gas that angrily vibrated in its capsule, "what the?" Barry frowned, in an instant the hand snapped the vile in two, allowing the gas to spread. Barry was astounded at how fast it moved, even he had barley begun to register what was happening before it was infesting his lungs. The four fell to the ground with a loud clatter. Barry's vision went hazy and it clouded with red. He choked for air desperately. His eyelids drooped and fluttered shut. He could feel his body aching to breath fresh air, but he couldn't move. He felt his body slowly begin to shut down, until he was completely submerged in darkness.
Sebastian jolted awake. His head was fuzzy and unclear, as well as his lungs feeling full. It was definitely more difficult to breathe than he had anticipated. He coughed slightly, but it did not ease his discomfort. He was lying on something cold and hard. In fact, the room he was in was freezing, he wouldn't have been surprised if his breath was fogging up around him. He decided not to open his eyes, not yet at least. He slowly began to recall what had happened as a cold shiver slid down his spine. He held his breath and listened. There were so many sounds. So many people. He could make out three heart beats around him. He recognised the fast and speedy heartbeat of Barry, as well as the slow, powerful and steady heart beat of Cara. The third heart beat had to have been Alexes. A little further away there were two more heart beats, butt they were incredibly slow. They maybe only beat a couple of times every minute. They were vampires no doubt. The wind whistled softly, so Sebastian assumed that they were near to an open window. The soft and gentle breathing of the people near him filled the man's ears, putting his nerves at ease. They were all alive and still breathing, and that was what mattered. Very suddenly Barry's heart rate increase, it was not by much, but it was noticeable. Sebastian heard his brother groan as he began to wake, "where the heck are we?" He groaned.
