"And that is all guys, any questions?" I look around the conference room and see everyone is smiling and nodding at me, but no hands are going up. Nodding to everyone, I grab the papers on the table and stack them together.

"Great! Well get to it everyone and if you have anything else for me, just go ahead and shoot an email to me or my assistant. Have a good day!" once they heard my dismissal, everyone started gathering their items and shot me partings. Smiling at everyone as they leave, I gather all my paperwork and stuff them into the bag. Once that is done, I grab the remote for the projector and turn it off. Once the room is back to before, I take a moment to pause and stare out the window at the breathtaking skyline.

It's a view I never get tired of, the large snow-tipped mountains, the glowing emerald green of the water, the ferryboats and large cargo boats dotting the water. Despite the fact that it was raining, the amount of people down below running around never ceases. The city life always amazed me, how the people who lived and breathed here work despite the constant rain. Now I am one of those city people, and the bustle of life here is something I have become used to. Letting out a sigh, I roll my shoulders to relieve some of the tension that has started to build over the day.

"Hey Rose, ready for the next meeting?" my assistant enters the room and looks at me expectantly. Smiling at her, I grab my bag off the table and head towards her.

"Yes Alyssa, where to next?" I ask her as she hands me a mint rosemary tea in a coffee cup, and holds the door open for me.

"Well we have a meeting with a Nike exec who wants to have one of our big listers do a collaboration with a new active line they have coming out, and then we have to go over the pictures from the last shoot for an album release, followed by another meeting to go over the details of that album release, and then..." she loses steam as she looks back down at her ever-present clipboard. Giggling at her, I help fill in the rest.

"And then we have to meet with one of our up and coming artists that has a first world tour coming up, and then that will be it for the day"

"Man! How do you always remember everything we have to do Rose?" Alyssa huffs out as she hits the button for the elevator.

"Because my dear, I would not be able to function as a team leader in the publicist department and getting paid the big bucks" she lets out a soft laugh as we arrive to main lobby and head outside. Popping open the umbrella, she holds it out for me as we head to the company vehicle waiting for us on the curve. The driver holds open the car door and I hop in first. Alyssa gets in and closes the door, and starts to rustle through her bag.

I let out a breath and look out the window, feeling a nudge in my abdomen I run a hand over the large surface I now call my stomach. Smiling down at it, I turn to Alyssa.

"Hey, do you—" I am cut off from asking her by her handing over a granola bar. Smiling at her, I grab it from her hand. "How do you always know what I am about to ask?" I tease her.

She lets out a laugh, and pointedly looks at my large belly. "Because this little guy in there always gets hungry on a schedule" I let out a soft giggle and open the packet. Looking down, I am filled with warmth at the thought of my baby that will be coming soon.

After all, its been 8 months since I've been here.

Sighing, I kick close the front door, dropping my keys and purse on the table next to the door. Bending over, I rub each foot as best I can with the ginormous ball I call a stomach getting in the way. Entering further, I hear pitter-patter followed by the excited whines of my pup.
