Seungmin waved his hand in front of Jeongin jokingly, but his eyes widened when Jeongin didn't actually react.

Jisung whistled, "He's head over heels."

"Huh?" Jeongin said but didn't avert his gaze from her. Felix chuckled as he high-fived Jisung.

A little smile appeared on Jeongin's face as she laughed. He giggled softly before blushing and realizing he has been staring.

"Aww he's so cute!" Felix laughed along with the other two, making Jeongin blush even more and frown at them.

He was staring at (y/n), his classmate. She wasn't that shy rich girl who had all the guys swooning over her, but she was rather a charismatic and chatty person. She was easygoing, and almost every person who talked to her ended up smiling and laughing, even if he was in a bad mood. You could basically say that all the students were her friends.

Jeongin couldn't help but glance at her every now and then as he spent the lunch break with his friends. Whenever he heard her laugh, he couldn't help but smile. And she laughed a lot.

"Hey (y/n)!" Felix suddenly shouted, surprising his friends. Jeongin blushed and hit Felix's shoulder.

"Yeah?" She grinned and looked over at them.

"Care to join us?" Felix said, making Jeongin more flustered. He wanted to talk with her, but he always got nervous whenever she was around.

"Sorry, not today? (NOT NOT TODAY) I'm sorry but we have kind of a serious matter right here!" She said as she was sitting with one of her close friends.

"Sure, okay." Felix smiled, and when (y/n) turned around away from them, Jeongin frowned at Felix.

"Do you like to tease me?" He said.

Felix chuckled, "No! (everybody say NO) I just wanted you two to spend time together, that's all."

Jeongin sighed, "Thank you." He mumbled, glancing at her again.

After classes, as soon as the bell rang, Felix and Jisung were the first to dash out, leaving Jeongin confused, and Seungmin praying that they won't get caught.

"Come on Felix, some students are coming!" Jisung said as we watched the hallway as Felix was trying to pick the lock of (y/n)'s locker.

He finally opened it, and quickly took the umbrella before closing it again, "I did it!" He laughed, running out of the school with Jisung. He knew this was a bad thing to do, but they risked it all for Jeongin.

As they walked together to a cafe near the school, Jisung called Jeongin.

"Hello? Where did you—"

"The weather forecast said it'll rain today and (y/n) got no umbrella— Well, at least for today. So, make us proud and walk her home, yeah?" Jisung said as he smiled before hanging up. He knew Jeongin would become flustered and Jisung didn't want to deal with his shit.

Jeongin took a deep breath and looked at Seungmin, who smiled and gave him thumbs-up. He glanced at (y/n) and smiled as he saw her putting her things into her bag. Seungmin left first as planned, and waited in the hallway in case any student offered to share their umbrella with (y/n). He was told to stop them, but he didn't know how.

After a while, only (y/n), her friend and Jeongin were left in class. Jeongin pretended he was doing something on his phone, while he was just waiting for her.

(Y/N) smiled as she walked to the door with her friend, "Bye Jeongin, see ya tomorrow!" She waved at him, and he blushed and waved back with a smile.

Seungmin got bored because they took a lot of time, and ended up leaving, assuming that most of the students left anyway.

Jeongin took a deep breath before leaving the class with a smile, but he was surprised when he saw that (y/n)'s friend was still with her as they stood next to the lockers, staring at the sky.

"(Y/n)? What's wrong?" He said as he walked to them with his umbrella. He knew what was wrong with (y/n), but didn't know why her friend was here. 'I think her name was Lisa?' Jeongin thought as he glanced at (y/n)'s friend. (I'm sorry for using her name again but I love Lisa sm)

(Y/n) groaned, "My umbrella isn't in my locker, and Lisa forgot hers." she pouted.

Jeongin wanted to walk (y/n) home, but he just couldn't think of anything better than what he was about to do.

He offered the umbrella to (y/n) with a small smile, "You can take it and share it."

"No no, what about you?" (y/n) didn't accept it, taking a step back.

"You don't have to do this, we'll wait." Lisa smiled.

"You can't wait here alone." He smiled, "Just take it, my house is kinda near." He took (y/n)'s hand and put the umbrella in it.

"But—" (Y/n) was about to protest, but Lisa held her hand and smiled.

"We'll take it then, thank you Jeongin!" Lisa grinned.

"Take care," Jeongin waved as he walked away and started running to his house, while (y/n) opened the umbrella and shared it with Lisa.

"He's so cute, don't you think?" Lisa smiled.

"Yeah, he is."

When Jeongin arrived home, he took a shower then lay on his bed, pouting as he called Jisung.

"Hey, how did it go?"

"Not too good." Jeongin fiddled with his shirt.

"How? What went wrong?" He could sense Jisung's disappointment.

"I... Look— Lisa was with her. And both of them—"

"Let me guess, you gave them your umbrella and left?"

Jeonging hummed, pursing his lips.

Jisung sighed.

"Don't sigh!" Jeongin said.

"Why?"

"Because you make me feel as if I have failed."

Jisung chuckled, "Okay. There's always next time. You did great."

Jeongin smiled a little, "Thanks. Bye."

"Bye~"
