#1 This book was literally an idea that came to me when I was sitting in the toilet.
#2 Inspired heavily by BTS's new hair colours for the Love Yourself comeback.
#3 The title, Sugar & Ocean, signifies that life is full of sweet and salty, and of course, Yoongi's sugary sweet smile and ocean like blue hair.
#4 It was originally going to be just about a gay girl and a quiet, rude boy, but then Taehyung entered the scene, and then Jungkook, and it went on from that.
#5 There was supposed to be a scene when all the LGBT gang were together and Y/N says, "We're so colourful, aren't we?" But then I decided to remove it because it wasn't very necessary.
#6 Jungkook's words, "I'm twenty and I know what I need to know" are taken from his War Of Hormone performance.
#7 Lisa was originally going to date Y/N instead of it being Jimin.
#8 The idea of Hoseok and Lusa being stepsibling came to me spontaneously.
#9 The sad Jimin scene I wrote was a long time ago in September, when the sky was dark and no one was at home and I was feeling a little angsty.
#10 Out of all the books I've written, this is definitely my favourite so far, because it's just so sweet and sour at the same time and makes you feel fuzzy warm inside.
#11 Hoseok was going to be gay too, at first.
#12 All Namjin fics usually have Namjoon as the dominant one and probably the one who cheats, so I wanted to shake things up in here.
