For the next few days, Isabelle eased into Dami's family lifestyle. When Sunday rolled by, they attended the fathers church, RCCG. Isabelle was relaxed and she didn't have to feel tension mount up in her anymore.

Monday rolled by. While Dami and her siblings got ready for school; her mother, Mrs Alabi ushered Isabelle into her room.

"My child, don't you go to school?" She asked with concern.

Isabelle shook her head. "I got expelled from my former school"

Mrs Alabi looked deeply concerned. "But would you like to go to school, because these children won't be around and I don't want you moping around the house doing nothing"

"No ma I don't have enough money for school right now"

Mrs Alabi laughed. "Who told you you had to pay. A friend of mine owns a school. I'll see what I can do dear"

She didn't expect such gratitude. She sank to her knees but Mrs Alabi pulled her back up.

"It's the least I can do" She whispered, before hugging her.

Later that day, while Ore taught her how to play Whot- she never had any experience , Dami noticed something.

"Are you alright?" She asked.

"Yeah absolutely"

"Sister Issy, watch and learn oh" Ore said. "If you don't concentrate we will take advantage. Last Card!" He announced.

Dami giggled and dropped three fives on the table. "Last card, my foot. My friend pick nine!"

Isabelle laughed as she watched Ore pick the nine cards, feeling dejected. "I will deal with you at my own accord"

"Damilola, please check if The Vow has started"

"Mummy which one?"

"Iru ibeere alaiye ni pe?" What kind of nonsense question is that? "What other type of the vow is there apart from the one on Zee World? Please check something let me come and watch"

Dami laughed. "But there's an American film called the vow sha"

"My friend will you shut up"

Another thing that Isabelle had found out is how Mrs Alabi's favourite tv stations are Telemundo and Zee World. She rarely watched tv at home. But almost a week in this house, and she already knew what times the shows would be airing.

In her former secondary school she would never listen to any Bollywood recommendation but three days later at Dami's house she is already crying at the fact that Aarti had mistaken Yash for Prashant and now she admitted the whole truth about her divorce on Married Again.

"But honestly that Prashant is terrible oh" She said to Dami, as Ore drew the cards for another day between the four of them, Tobi included. Tosin was with one of her friends who also lived in the estate.

"Please you people should not start this Zee World nonsense today" Ore said, rolling his eyes.

"That one concerns you" Dami replied. "You're the only one who doesn't like it"

"Nope. Tobi and Tosin if she understands would hate it as well"

"That Married Again is interesting I won't lie" Tobi interjected, putting a 14 on the table. "Oya general market. You people are talking too much"

Isabelle burst out in laughter. "This is what they call making moves in silence"

"I wish we were enough for Donkey or Jackpot. I'm sure some people will cry today" Ore said, giving Dami a side eye.
