The door bell rang, harder than before. This was the fifth time in five days. Isabelle was exhausted, because she had opened the door each time to say the same thing.

"He's not here" She said, this time around. "Honestly, It's getting really annoying now"

Folasade would nod, say something in the lines of, 'do you know where I could possibly find him?'. Isabelle would shake her head no, and she would leave. But this time, the girl wasn't having it. She was initially annoyed because the girl knocked at random hours and it wasn't even Isabelle's house.

She knew Dami was annoyed deep down but she wouldn't complain. Josiah has been spending every other night at her place , ever since he found out. And half of the time he was in there.
However, he wasn't in this time.

"I know he's in there, I just want to have a word with him." Folasade pleaded. Isabelle took a look at her face and noticed the signs of heartbreak, the tired look of one that's cried too much over the past couple of days, the over sized black shirt and jeans she had on showed that she had not been making an effort to show off. She looked flawless as always, even with all the mess going on.

"He isn't in, and I'm being honest"

"If he isn't then can I have a look?"

"Folasade! For crying out loud he isn't in. But I will let him know you came looking. See, my friend is coming home soon and she wouldn't find this constant visits funny. I'm sorry about the way you feel, I just can't be of help. Please, stop coming here"

She sighed, and took off her shades. They revealed swollen, red eyes. She looked away, gave a mock laugh and looked back at Isabelle.

"I know this is what you've been waiting for , Isabelle. Hmm, you waited for us to break up, so you could run back to his arms. How convenient now that I have to get through YOU, to get to MY fiancé. Well, I'd like to tell you that you're going to have to do better than trying to steal him away, because there's a wedding still, I know we can work through this"

Isabelle started to laugh, much to her surprise. She knew a day like this would come, and she wondered why it took this long.

"We wouldn't be in this position if you weren't fucking his twin brother, sis. That's on you, and it has nothing to do with me, you terrible cheat" She felt satisfied at the look on Fola's face. Even at how annoyingly irritating she was, she was gorgeous, no doubt.

"Don't you dare come here and push the blame on me, and don't you dare accuse me of snatching him away. I have pushed him away, because of you bastards. James smuggled into the hospital room, held a knife to my neck and threatened to kill me. I've had enough of people calling me names. You got your man back but you couldn't keep him because the thought of his brother makes you wet. So if you want to go there, I'm willing to go down that path with you. I would not stand here and watch you insult me"

Folasade went mute, like she wasn't expecting that and she was also surprised at the same time that she was able to lash out at her like that. She mumbled something, seemed like an apology and she walked away. She was sure Folasade won't be coming back.

That evening, while she was making dinner, Josiah walked in. He spend most nights here, sleeping in the other room while Isabelle shared Dami's bed with her. The only relief was that she was moving to her new house in a few days so she knew that's why Dami wasn't complaining. The girl is hardly at her own house.

It was difficult to know what he was feeling at the time, but she knew how shattered it had been for him for the past week. She didn't know what to do to make him feel better.

"So, what's for dinner tonight?" He said, closing the door behind the kitchen.

Isabelle rolled her eyes. "Of course you'd be interested in anything food related. I'm cooking moin moin, though it's almost done"
