taehyung sunk into his beaten couch.

his mom didn't care anymore.

his extended family didn't care anymore.

his boss didn't care anymore.

his colleagues didn't care anymore.

the only one who cared was him.

yoongi.

but even then, taehyung knew that if he had left yoongi, he'd eventually forget his face.

what's the point to live if you don't have anything to live for? was a question he'd ask constantly.

you don't live to do things you want to do. it's quite the opposite. was the response he'd get.

isn't that a stupid way to live? who'd want to live like that? he'd ask.

i don't know. that's just how life works. don't get me wrong, you have some freedom. but life is mostly a challenge people take. they'd answer.

taehyung had enough of this.

he still didn't understand.

was this life's most biggest challenge for him?

does he get a prize if he wins?

if he defeats it, does he get jimin back?
