Yet I don't understand why

By letting you know my secrets,
I allowed you into my life.
Heaven which was once,
Now reminds me of you with every glance.
I know I sound selfish, but thanks for leaving me,
Because it was your departure,
Which brought out the writer hidden in me.
I cried for some days, before realization struck me,
Life is all about moving on, is what you taught me.
Apart from life, my best lesson was you,
Yet I don't understand why write such broken piece,
Even though I haven't met you.
