Two: Decision

--still part of the flashback--
Jimin went straight to his bedroom and grunted. He was embarrassed and shocked, as well at his demeanor. But he felt great, nonetheless. He felt great that he was not rejected, although he was expecting a response, he was happy that Jungkook might feel the same level of love towards him and not just your typical high school crush.

He technically screamed when he remembered he slipped his tongue into Jungkook's mouth and explored every corner of it. And that scream undoubtedly annoyed his roommate, Jin.

Jimin was new to this place, with no one he knew and with only high hopes that people would treat him kindly and that his roommate wasn't a dick like his previous one. He was lucky he ended up with a Bachelor of Arts Major in Acting graduating student, Kim Seokjin. At first, they were awkward though, but all of it was because Jin didn't want to disgust his roommate when he finds out he has a boyfriend, Namjoon. But after knowing that Jimin was of the same sexuality, they grew comfortable.

"You've been grunting for every minute since you arrived and I was thinking, if I could just have 20 more minutes to practice my lines in the upcoming school festival." Jin was yelling madly but not in a terrifying way, but in a way that tears were forming in his eyes.

"Sorry, eomma." Jimin shouted, we would always use that term towards him as to the overly mother-like affection of Jin towards every friend of his, and Jin didn't mind.

"Okay!" Jimin was sitting up, wide eyes when Jin entered suddenly. "Tell me, why the sudden behavior?" Jin sat next to the smaller male and was ready to give him his ears.

"Why? You're never interested in what I do!" Jimin shot him a look of questioning.

"Just tell me so that you could stop mumbling and I could go back to my peaceful practicing." Jin said trying to act calmly.

"Well, I wouldn't really use peaceful because your script involved a lot of screaming and I ----" Jimin was cut off when Jin partially shouted. "Just tell me."

"So, I have a crush on this boy." Jimin started, Jin didn't respond, still lending his ears and Jimin continued. "And I like him so much, and I've heard that he likes me as well, but I don't know if that's true. I mean, he responded to my kiss earlier but --"

Jimin was cut off "Woah woah, so you're saying that you like this boy and you kissed him that fast? And here you are mumbling how you think he doesn't feel the same way back when you already said that he responded." Jin was kind of yelling now but in an odd comforting way.

"Yeah. But, I don't want to assume things, you know how I fall and I fall hard everytime. I just don't want to jump into conclusions, what if I like him more than he does?" The younger devastatedly explained.

"And what's wrong with liking him more than how he does to you?" The older replied.

"If I like him more, I fall harder. And when I get hurt, it hurts more than it's supposed to. What if I'm the only one between us who looks at each other that way?" Jimin was overwhelmed and not in a good way.

"Okay, I can't give you a solid piece of advice for now since I have not been in that situation because you know me, I like to jump all over the one I like instantly, but anyway you need to stop with the 'what ifs' and take risks yourself." Jin made sure that the younger was listening and held his chin up. The latter just nodded and shifts the topic.

"Speaking of which." Jimin started and cleared his throat. "How 'bout you Jin-hyung? Anything interesting with you and Namjoon?". The smaller one teased and bumped his shoulder to the other one making both of them giggle.

"Aish. Just...don't mind me." Jin had nothing else left to say but wanted to leave the room as quick as possible.

"Just focus on killing those butterflies in your stomach." Jin added, making the younger look up at him, wide-eyed and lips forming an O. "I was kidding. Now, if you don't mind, i have a script to memorize." He continued and walked out the room laughing.

Jimin was still confused. Does Jungkook like him the same way he feels towards the younger?

And that's when Jimin came up with a plan which he thought was perfect at the time but it ended up changing everything.

That's right. I would make him jealous to see how he really feels for me. If he gets mad, then probably, he will confess, then I will make my move.

Jimin thought, not knowing it would be the most ignorant decision he would ever make.
