"JIMIN" Jungkook yelled once he pushed the door open to the rooftop of the mall.
Jungkook gasped once hus eyes fixated on the boy. Jimin was standing behind the railing, too close to the edge.
"Jungkook?" Jimin whispered to himself, he was not believing anything because he thought it was all just his imagination. He turned his head around and his eyes widen once he noticed Jungkook running towards him.
All Jungkook wanted was to hug Jimin and talk it out of this. He was feeling nothing but sympathy and empathy for Jimin.
"No no no. Stop!" Jimin cried out as Jungkook was a mere few feet near him.
"J-Jimin, I-I....l-let's talk, okay?" Jungkook stated hurtfully. He didn't know why Jimin didn't want him here now, and he was heartbroken by the fact that Jungkook probably doesn't need his comfort right now.
"NO! Okay? Take one more step forward and I won't hesitate to jump off and close the gap between me and the ground." Jimin exclaimed making Jungkook freeze in his spot and lift his hands in the air as a sign of surrendering.
He, too, was confused. He didn't know why Jungkook was here, what was the young boy's purpose?. But he felt bad as well. He knew that he caused all of this and he was the one yelling and throwing a fit now?.
"Jimin. I'm not here to hurt you. Please, I'm sorry." Jungkook didn't knew what he was apologizing for but he blurted it out nonetheless.
"For what, exactly? What are you sorry about? For being a slut who goes all over everyone's faces?" The older didn't knew what took over him, but he uttered those words carelessly.
Jungkook's expression shifted a full 360 degrees. He arrived here, feeling nothing but worry and sorrow for Jimin. But now that Jungkook was perceiving him like this, all those feelings washed off and was replaced with anger.
Eyebrows furrowed. Eyes evident with hatred. Mind going blank. Heart on fire.
He took big leap over Jimin and grabbed him by his collar pushing him over the railing as his anger overtook him.
"YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO CALL ME THAT, JIMIN, YOU HAVE NONE. I MIGHT HAVE APPROACHED YOU HERE TO BREAK TO YOU THE TRUTH AND MEND YOUR SUPPOSED BROKEN HEART, AND I MIGHT HAVE WENT UP TO CONVINCE YOU TO NOT TAKE YOUR OWN LIFE BUT, OH JIMIN, I WOULD BE MORE THAN THE HAPPIEST PERSON IN THE WORLD IF I WITNESS THAT RIGHT HERE, AND RIGHT NOW." Jungkook shouted while gritting his teeth, words coming out of his mouth faster than what Jimin could register, but he understood every single word. And every word made their own deep cut in Jimin's heart.
"Y-you don't...mean that." Jimin retorted, closer to crying once his eyes brimmed with liquid.
"OH SO NOW YOU'RE DICTATING ME WHAT I SHOULD AND SHOULD NOT SAY? UNBELIEVABLE." Jungkook laughed humorlessly.
"Please don't say that...it-it's hurting m-me" Jimin started to sob.
"You broke me Park Jimin, and now you're saying that i hurt you?. What you did was unethical. You wanna talk about hurting? What did you think i felt when you dropped on your knees and pretended that you actually love the girl just to make me jealous." Jungkook questioned as Jimin looked at him straight in the eye.
"Wha...wh-who told you that?" Jimin looked at him in disbelief.
"Does it really matter now, Jimin? You broke me when i showed my feelings for you as clear as day, and what...this idea comes to your mind and you wanted to make me jealous, to prove my love for you?. I'm guessing that's really stupid Park Jimin." Jungkook's blood boiled, words seething with hate and desperation.
Desperate for what, exactly?
For Jimin's love? For Jimin's apology?
"I'm...I'm so so sorry Jungkook." Jimin dropped on his knees, hugging Jungkook's thighs.
Jungkook scoffed. "Get on your feet." But Jimin didn't budge. "I SAID GET ON YOUR FEET." Jungkook yelled again. He didn't know how to cool his mind.
"Jung-Jungkook." Jimin reached out to cup Jungkook's face but the younger tilted his head to avoic the touch.
"I know, I hurt you and I--"
"You knew, Jimin. And that's what was killing me. You knew, but all you did was make the situations worse."
"I know. It was stupid. I'm stupid." Jimin said while bringing his hand to his head and banging it.
Jungkook wanted to stop the older, but then he thought it would make him think that he forgives him already. And so he stood his ground.
"It is stupid. And I'm also stupid. For believing your lies. You know I also think if what you told and expressed to me was also a lie. Was it Jimin?" He turned to the older, grabbing his shoulders to make him listen attentively.
"NO." Jimin defended quickly. "NO Jungkook, it was all real. Jungkook please believe me, no." He continued as he sobbed more.
"It takes time Jimin. This wound you made, I doubt it would even heal."
"But...but I'm hear Jungkook, I'll let you heal."
"Never in history had the wound been healed by the knife, Jimin." Jungkook calmly uttered, feeling his anger dissipating at the sight of his supposed lover breaking down.
"Jungkook. Oh no." He cried into his hands to muffle his sobs.
Now he knew what he was desperate about.
"Forget it, Jimin. Forget it." Jungkook whispered as he stepped away from the boy.
"Jungkook! Wh-where are you going? What are you gonna do?" The shorter asked nervously.
"Back to my bestfriend, the one who actually cares. And Jimin." Jungkook called out as Jimin looked at him, heart ready to break at what words will escape Jungkook's mouth.
"Move on. As I will, too. Well, I doubt you have something to move on from me actually." Jungkook started sadly, but memories came rushing in as he continued those next words.
"No Jungkook. I...Please don't." Jimin begged, his heart breaking a million times more after he sees the emotion on Jungkook; seriousness.
"I don't see how hard it could be, I mean--"
"I'll kill myself, Jungkook. I don't know what to do if you'll leave."
"As I was saying, I don't see how hard it could be, your favorite game seems to be me and your favorite playground seems to be my heart." Jungkook ducked his head as he turned the knob to the exit. "Goodbye, Jimin."
With those last words, the younger's words echoed in Jimin's ears.
Jungkook was desperate, for comfort and for healing. And he knew he would only heal if he let go. So that's what he did.

I'm alive y'all. I'm sorry I haven't updated in a really long while, but as I've said, the previous chapter was a mistake and I have been unsure on what to do next as it was not supposed to escalate that quickly and I can't take it down. But I'm here, so I hope that would be aight.
