" . . . ."
"Runner?"
"Hm?"
"Did I wake you?"
"Nooo."
"You sound very sleepy."
"It's three o'clock in the morning without coffee."
" . . . . "
" . . . . "
"Are you in bed?"
"Tucked in like a princess."
" . . . . "
" . . . . "
"Runner?"
"Hm?"
"Can you . . . never mind."
"Nooope. Say it."
"No, it's dumb. I'm fine."
"You started the sentence now finish it."
" . . . . "
"MG."
" . . . . "
"M-"
"My name."
" . . . . "
" . . . . "
"Your name?"
"Yes."
"What about it?"
"Will you say it - for me?"
"Your real name?"
"Please."
" . . . . "
" . . . . "
"Demitri."
" . . . . "
" . . . . "
"Snow?"
"Yes?"
"When I see you, I see a woman who cares. A lady who got on a Ferris Wheel knowing she was afraid of heights. A lady that can act normal around celebrities so they won't feel uncomfortable even when they ignore her and I'm sorry for ever ignoring you . . . I see a considerate person with big round honey eyes and lips that taste like powdered elephant ears and a smile that could be seen from heaven . . . When I see you, I see a person that I want to get to know more than I have been through phone calls . . . Snow?"
"Yes?"
"I . . . I like you."
" . . . . "
" . . . . "
"I like you too, Demitri."
"Are you smiling right now?"
"Of course."
"Get some rest. I'll call you later."
"Okay. Goodnight."
"Sleep tight, Little Runner."
