namjoon was able to finish high school while still training at big hit entertainment, and at one point was the only member of bts as he had been the first time. members came and went, some of them getting impatient and tired that they hadn't debuted yet.
by the end of 2012, when namjoon finished school, the final line up had been chosen.
the members had been namjoon, seokjin, hoseok, yoongi, taehyun, jungkook, and jimin. they would be debuting as bts.
it was during his final days in high school that he had gotten a confession from a girl. a freshman student who left a note in his locker. and he remembered a story jin had told him once before.

i think we all know what i'm making reference to right now. the start of this takes place in about 2010-2012. so this is about 1-3 years after jin rejects sofia in high school.
and we all know how that went down.
on a side note, i watched the movie "coco" for the first time yesterday. i thought it was going to be a shitty interpretation of my culture.
but i loved the movie. im so proud and happy. plus, i'm obsessed with the characters and i just might post a fanfic about them. dont @ me. lol
