Ah yes, the day had come that corpses would walk. You were on the ship known as Campania, and you had just set sail, it was going to be interesting, that's for sure.

Sure enough, you'd seen Ciel and Lizzy along with Sebastian and what seemed to be a new servant with a snake around his neck. He looked rather adorable honestly.

And then there was Elizabeth's family, that you were yet to meet.

"Ok, I have to meet with Dr. Ryan, you can explore a little, I'll meet you at the meeting" Adrian said, kissing your cheek.

"Ok, see you then" you replied.

You hadn't seen any shinigami yet, although you thought you might have seen Ronald, literally jump onto the boat.

You decided to go and say hi to the Phantomhive crew. So you made you way across the deck toward them.

"(Y/n)! You're all better! It's good to see you!" Lizzy squeaked, noticing your presence and pulling you into a hug.

"Good to see you too" you replied.

"(Y/n)? I didn't know you'd be here" Ciel said.

"It was kind of last minute. Adrian wanted to surprise me, he's inside at the moment" you explained.

"Well I do hope you'll enjoy the trip" Sebastian said.

"Oh (y/n)! This is my family, that's my mum Francis, my dad Alexis-Leon, and my brother Edward" Lizzy said.

You curtsied and put on a smile.

"It's nice to meet you, I'm (y/n) (l/n), a fiend of Lord Phantomhives and I met Lizzy a few months ago when she visited the manor" you said.

"Aren't you just the cutest thing? Wonderful to meet you" Francis said.

"Any friend of Lizzys is a friend of mine, nice to meet you" Alexis added.

Edward gave you a skeptical look, he must be protective over his sister and wanting her to hang out with the right people.

"It's nice to meet you" he said.

Ciel jumped in.

"Oh, (y/n) this is our new footman, Snake"

Snake? Will it certainly fit his appearance and the fact he had a tiny snake wrapped around his ear that no one seemed to notice.

"Nice to meet you" you said curtsying again.

"N-nice to meet you... says, Dan"

Huh? Oh, was his snake Dan? Maybe he was a snake whisperer. He was quite the small bean really.

You spent about an hour talking to Lizzys family and Snake, getting to know them. Eventually it was time to meet up with Adrian, so you excused yourself to go find him. As you were walking down the empty halls, you noticed another familiar face.

"I knew it" you said.

"Huh? (Y/n)? What are you doing here?"

You grabbed the red heads arm and pulled her into a corner.

"Ok, Grell. You can not repeat what I'm about to say to anyone. I'm not meant to say anything, but I can't risk our friendship being ruined by a secret, you're my bestie ok?" You said.

"Alright? What's going on?" She asked.

You took a breath and looked around to make sure no one was there.

"Ok, I know you're here about the moving corpses that are about to come to life"

"Yeah and?"

"Adrian and I are behind it"

"WHA-"

You put a hand over her mouth to shut her up.

"Shhhh! Let me explain. We're onto something big here. If we can figure out how to bring a human to life again the way I came back to life, this could make your job 1000 times easier"

"I'm listening..." she said.

"It will stop souls from being stolen, prevent demons and angels from tampering with human life and it could be useful to help shinigami control death" you explained.

Grell took a minute to figure it all out, and when she did, her face lit up.

"You're right! That's genius!" She said.

"There only a small problem here, Adrian and I will have to be on the run for a little while... so I won't see you"

"Aww... I'll miss you"

"I'll miss you too, just keep quiet and let things play out ok? Once it's all complete I can see you again and your job will be so easily you might actually get days off"

"You better make this work (y/n)" she said.

"I'm definitely going to make it work!" You replied.

Suddenly you heard people down the hall.

"I have to go, I'll miss you"

"I'll miss you too, write to me ok?"

She pulled you into a friendly hug, one you happily returned.

"I'll see you later"

"Bye!"

With that you ran off in opposite directions.

And you were of to meet Adrian and wittiness the corpses being to walk.
