Dear Diary,

How did I fall in love the first time and why isn't it happening again? Not saying that I want anything rushed, it's just that I really hate hurting him. Jumping at every text message and call from Klaus and Elijah. Maybe it's the Mikaelson curse that was place upon me when I was impregnated with Klaus's daughter.

Hayley.

It was late, and I figured that Elijah hadn't been sleeping so I decided to stop by. There's been a short distance between my brother and I over the last six months. This prophecy even had the lot of us doing separate things. Is not being together was something that I hadn't looked forward to.

I knocked on the door of Elijah's home and waited for a while, but there hadn't been an answer. I used my vampire hearing to listen to see if anyone was home.

I didn't hear Elijah's breathing, only the sound of Mariana and Vincent's voices. The prophecy even brought a wedge between he and Mariana.

Pulling out my cell phone, I noticed another unknown message before I could even call Elijah to see where he had been.

Unknown: Aurora's in Chicago, you should keep your eyes open.

Ignoring the message, I called Elijah and waited for him to pick up. When Elijah answered the phone, all I could hear was pound music and a lot of people in the background.

"Elijah?" I questioned with a shock.

"Niklaus?" He replied. "It's a little late for you to be calling isn't it?" Elijah asked. "Shouldn't you be creating some amazing art around this time?"

"Where are you?" I asked, a serious look had accompanied my face.

"Night club on bourbon. We should have a drink together."

"The plan is to not let Klaus find out about this entire Camille situation." I mumbled as Kole stood in the room. For the last few days he'd been MIA and I have yet to ask about where he'd been. "And it'll be hard to do that if we're about to kill Marcel to unlink him from her."

"Then keep him distracted." Kole implied. "It's not that hard, specially if it's Hope or Hayley who's doing the distracting." He shrugged.

Kole has a point. If anyone was good at keeping Klaus distracted, it was definitely his best friend and their daughter.

"But who cares about how he feels about Camille right now, we should focus on what we're going to do about our brother Finn." Kole stayed seriously as I continued with gathering the materials for the un-linking spell.

"Finn is fine." I replied. "He says that Khalid might not be Lucien's secret weapon, or if he is..." Stopping mid sentence, I looked over at Kole with one of my eyebrows up.

  "What?" Kole questioned.

"Hope said that Lucien needed Marcel as a power source which would be the reason that he linked us to Camille and Marcel, but what if that power source wasn't for Lucien?"

"What exactly are you getting at sister?" Kole asked as he paid close attention to what I had been saying.

"Khalid didn't fight Finn, maybe he couldn't. Maybe killing Marcel would make Khalid stronger and killing Khalid would make Lucien stronger. That's brilliant." I scoffed.
