Chapter 11

Lizas pov:
Gabbie: why did David Dobrik just drop you here?
Liza: what?
Gabbie: I just watched his car leave my driveway, care to explain?
Liza: uh... it's a long story
Gabbie: I've got time
She says closing and locking the front door. We sit on her bed and she waits for me to start talking.
Liza: I can't tell you gabs
Gabbie: you can and you will
Liza: but I promised-
Gabbie: I don't care, you're telling me right now
Liza: fine... David's- me and David- David and I-
Gabbie: spit it out!
Liza: ma and David are dating! Well not really because he hasn't officially asked me not thhat we could be official anyway but he just introduced me as his girlfriend and-
I blurt speaking as fast as I could
Gabbie: liza! Calm down... let me get this straight you and David are a thing?
I nod in reply
Gabbie: why didn't you tell me before?!
Liza: we promised not to tell anyone
Gabbie: and your parents?
Liza: they have no idea, but that is something I need to talk to you about
I tell her what happened at home between me my mom and my sister
Gabbie: well damn! You can stay here as long as you need
Liza: thanks ga-
I'm interrupted by a loud crash in her closet. I get up and walk towards it
Gabbie: liza!
I open up the double door and see Zane on the floor covered in clothes that had fallen in him.
Zane: hey... funny seeing you here
Liza: sure is
I turn back to Gabbie and she staring at the floor.
Liza: wait, how long have you been here?!
Zane: the whole time
Liza: and you heard?
Zane: I heard
Zane gets up taking the clothes off of him and Helps Gabbie clean up
Zane: I won't tell Liza I promise, but can I tell David?
Liza: umm I guess so yeah, but guys no one can know
Zane: we know
Liza: so Zane why are you here?
Zane: uhhh
Gabbie: liza don't act stupid
I laugh
Liza: don't worry Zane I won't tell if you don't want me too
Zane: well um
Liza: you do want me to?
Gabbie: no!
Zane: Gabbie doesn't...
Liza: but you do
He nods looking at the floor, I turn to Gabbie and give her a look, she replies with a look of guilt and turns back to Zane.
She takes a hold of his arm and her hand drifts to his hand he pulls away at first but then leaves his hand in hers
Gabbie: liza can you?...
I nod and silently leave the two of them, I can hear mumbles on the other side of the door and one of them raises their voice but quickly quiet down again.
Soon enough Gabbie opens up the door a sad look on her face
Liza: you okay gabs
Gabbie: yeah I'm fine
Her eyes were slightly watery we walk back into the room and Zane is sat on the end of her bed his head in his hands. His head pops up as we walk back in.
Zane: baby!
Gabbies eyes meet his but she pull away her gaze, Zane pulls himself up and tries to pull Gabbie towards him.
Zane: baby... Gabbie please
Gabbie reluctantly spins round to look at him
Gabbie: I'm sorry
She says looking at the floor
Zane: don't be, I get why you don't want to tell people... I think
Gabbie: we can tell them
She says With a sniffle, his face lights up as the words leave her mouth
Zane: really?!
She nods with a small smile, Zane pulls her into a tight hug
Zane: thank you baby
She kisses him gently and threw both grin as he pull away.
Zane: I'll leave you two
Gabbie: thanks babe I'll see you on Monday
Zane: see you then, bye Liza pre eepre
I smile back at him and he pecks Gabbie on the lips before leaving.
Gabbie: so back to you and David
She says turning to look at me with a smirk on her face.

Timelapse:
We're still sat in gabbies bed, my moms been messaging me all night but I've just ignored her. I've told Gabbie all about me and David and she's told me about her and Zane. We've been sat for a while talking about what I should do.
Gabbie: not that I don't want you to stay but how long will you be here for?
Liza: to be honest I have no idea, but I don't really want to go home anytime soon, where are your parents?
Gabbie: business trip as per usual they're gone for two weeks
Liza: perfect, that gives me some time to sort things
Gabbie: okay time for bed you've probably not had a second of sleep and Dobriks probably messed up your sleeping schedule
Liza: maybe
Gabbie: come on
Luckily Gabbie has a king size bed because her parents are filthy rich. I climb into my side and face her window.
I close my eyes and honk about everything that's happened and what will happen next and it scares me. I feel a single tear roll down my cheek. I quickly wipe it away and try to sleep.

I wake up with Gabbie by my side and sigh remembering last nights events. I grab my phone and check my messages. I scroll past my mom and dads names and stop when I see David's contact
Dd❤️: I can't see you tonight or tomorrow stuck looking after the kids sorry Xx
Me: it's okay I think I'll go to school so I'll see you Monday? Xx
Dd❤️: of course Xx
I take a deep breath, first I run from home and now I can't see David all weekend.
Gabbie: you alright?
Liza: I can't see David all weekend
Gabbie: why not?
Liza: he's babysitting
Gabbie: it's okay you got me
She says with a smile getting out of bed.
Gabbie: what do you wanna do today?
Liza: I would say let's go shopping but I don't have enough money to spend on clothes
Gabbie: how many outfits have you got?
Liza: three, that's why I want to go shopping
Gabbie: I'll pay
Liza: no you won't I don't let my friends pay for me
Gabbie: well I'm paying it's not like I don't have enough money I got my allowance before my parent left and they left me money for while they're gone
Liza: it's still your money
Gabbie: but they have me bonus money on my allowance because they're leaving
Liza: but-
Gabbie: no buts we're going
We get ready and she drags me to the mall. She buys herself a few outfits and a new dress along with some new makeup.
I get two outfits and a more formal outfit incase we go somewhere nice, and some extra makeup as I left some at home.
I payed $50 towards what I brought but Gabbie payed for the rest of it.
We went back home and gossiped and talked the rest of the day. We had pizza for dinner and it was soon midnight.
Gabbie: what's wrong?
Liza: oh nothing, it's just that I'd usually be with David right now
Gabbie: am I not good enough?
Liza: if you wanna give me a kiss to make me feel better then you will be
I joke
Gabbie: I'll stick with not being good enough
I laugh at her and snuggle into my side of the bed. She switches off the light and we say goodnight and fall asleep.
