Chapter 15

Lizas pov:

I wake up to Gabbie shaking my shoulders with a smile on her face.
Gabbie: come on! Finally you're awake!
Liza: what time is it?
Gabbie: 10
I sit up in the bed and she keeps staring at me with the smile on her face.
Liza: what?
Gabbie: go shower and get dressed we're going out later
Liza: come on I just wanna sleep this weekend, where are we going?
Gabbie: zanes
Liza: is it a party or just an excuse for you two to make out?
Gabbie: it's a small gathering our friends are gonna be there
Liza: why wasn't I invited earlier than a few hours before
Gabbie: because the plans were made an hour ago while you were sleeping
Liza: fair
Gabbie: now get up and get your ass in the shower!
Liza: ok ok stop rushing me
I wander into the shower and stand there for a few minutes just thinking. I wish I could stay with Gabbie long term but her parents would never allow it. When they get back next week they'll probably let me stay a little longer because they don't know I'm here while they're gone but they'll end up sending me back home.
I leave the shower and I can hear Gabbie downstairs because she has music blaring out. How can that girl have so much energy in the morning.
I dry my hair and get changed. I put on a black bralette with a black crop top over it paired with some black high waisted jeans. I do my basic makeup and leave my hair down. As soon as I'm done Gabbie hands me some waffles for breakfast.
Liza: since when did you cook
Gabbie: since my parents started leaving me for weeks at a time and I told them to get me a waffle iron.
I giggle and eat the waffles.
Liza: what time do we have to be there
Gabbie: as soon as we're done which is... now!
She drags me out the door and grabs her keys off the side on the way.
Liza: I know you haven't kissed Zane in a whole  day but you need to slow down a bit
She just laughs in reply and starts her car.
We pull up to zanes and I notice none of our cars on the road that's usually filled with them when we meet.
Liza: where's everyone's cars?
Gabbie: we must be early
Liza: probably
We walk into the house to find no one inside.
Liza: where's Zane
Gabbie: I'll go look in the garden his probably with Heath
I nod in reply and go to grab a drink from the fridge.
??: Zane?!
I hear someone shout down the hall and I could recognise that voice anywhere I spin round quickly. My eyes meet with the chocolate brown eyes I fell in love with.
David: L!
We run towards eachother and he lifts me into the air swallowing me in a tight hug and spinning me round. I felt like crying just being in his arms again.
We pull away from the long hug and just look at eachother still holding in desperately to eachothers arms.
We share a passionate and much needed kiss and I don't ever want to let go. We finally pull away from eachother and I'm so happy I can barely even talk.
Liza: h- how? Why? You're here!
David: I didn't know you were gonna be here Zane invited me last minute
Liza: so did Gabbie
David: I missed you so much
Liza: I missed you too
David: I'm so sorry I disappeared and that I didn't text you my parents were watching me closely
Liza: it's fine you're here now
David: and Zane told me what happened at the bar
Liza; he did?
I say with a sigh
David: I should've never made you feel like that so much you had to get drunk, I'm a terrible boyfriend
Liza: no you're not you're the best
He smiles in reply and kisses me once more
David: I love you
Liza: I love you too bubs
My heart is beating so fast and I can barely breathe I'm overwhelmed with excitement just from seeing him.
Liza: where did Gabbie go?
David: I have no idea, Zane disappeared a little while ago too
I get out my phone to text Gabbie only to see a text from her.
Gobbie: if you two haven't worked it out yet we sorta set you up, you two have the house to yourselves for a few hours and the rest of us will join you there at 5, you've both been going Crazy without eachother so me and Zane brought you together. You're welcome Xx
I show David he message and he reads over it I quickly. He doesn't say anything he just cups my face and locks our lips together. I quickly wrap myself around his waist as he starts to kiss my neck. He carries me upstairs and into the first bedroom we see which happens to be zanes.
David sets me down on the bed and hovers over me. I go back into the kiss and tug and the bottom of his top.
David: are you sure?
I nod with a smile in reply and we smash our lips together once more.

I wake up facing David's brown locks and smile before checking the time 2 o'clock we slept for a while well some of the time we weren't sleeping. I take a deep breath and everything has just happened flashes in my eyes.
I sit up causing David to stir.
David: L?
He says in he's deep voice after just waking up.
Liza: come on we have three hours together let's not waste it
David: what do you wanna do?
Liza: I dont really care, as long as you're here it's fine with me
David: let's go swimming
Liza: I don't have a bikini
David: and who says you need one
He gives my his toothy grin and stands up.
He throws me in zanes pool in just my bra and underwear I squeal as I fly through the air. I jumps in behind me and I latch onto his neck as I can't reach the bottom.
David: you're so small
He say through laughter, I splash him with the water with fake anger on my face. He lifts me up and flings me further into the pool.
Liza: guess I won't do that again
I say after swimming to the surface, he holds onto my waist and kisses me.
As soon as we both climb out the pool we get into the shower. I start to shampoo my hair when I feel David start to trail my neck with kisses. I smile to myself before turning around to look at him. I plant one gentle kiss on his lips leaving him grinning.
Liza: I've missed you
David: I missed you too
He kisses my forehead which gives me butterflies.
I go into what I guess is zanes parents room and quickly grab the hairdryer which was luckily right next to the door.
I dry my hair occasionally pointing it at David to annoy him while he scrolled through his phone. We ended up sat on the sofa with stranger things playing on the tv.
Liza: bubs can I ask you something?
David: anything
Liza: when Ester came to the beach... she asked if I was your girlfriend
David: and I said yes
Liza: but
David: I know I haven't officially asked you or anything but I figured how can I officially ask you when we can't be official
Liza: very true but I still like the feeling
David: well then, will you be my girlfriend?
Liza: um let me think about it...
I face the tv again and stare at it for about 5 seconds
Liza: I guess so
I say with a giggle, he smiles in reply. He cups my small cheek and pulls my lips towards his.
Liza: and one other thing... a few people know about us
David: what?! Who?!
Liza: Carly, Gabbie and Zane
David: Carly knows?!
Liza: when I got drunk I apparently poured out all my emotions to Carly and Zane
David: why don't we just tell them
Liza: because we can't risk it
David: we already have
Liza: true but-
David: but what? Lets just tell our closest friends then maybe we'll actually get to spend more time together not at 1am
Liza: other people would notice, our family feud is very popular
David: we can hide it from them
David: come on! L we can make it work
Liza: let's tell them tonight
David: at the party? How would we do that?
Liza: I have an idea

Gobbie: me and Zane are on our way back with Carly Erin and Alex. Scott, Kristen, Heath, corinna and Todd are following behind I don't know your plan for when we all get there but think fast
Me: okay thanks for the heads up

Liza: everyone's on there way here
David: how are we gonna do this? Should I go out back or should yo-
Liza: we're gonna do it like this
I take his hand in mine and we hear their car wheels roll across the gravel.
David: are you sure we could back last minute
Liza: I'm sure
We hear Scott's car pull up too and all their door slam. We walk up to the front door and slowly open it still holding onto eachothers hands. We hear them right on the other side and just as we hear the jingle of zanes keys I slowly open up the door to reveal our friends.
All I can see is shock on their faces as they look from our hands laced together to our faces.
Toddy: you two are...?
Scotty: you're dating?
Corinna: oh my god this is...
Alex: this is awesome
Liza: it is?
Kristen: of course it is
Heath: baby I knew you would end up together
Erin: it's like the perfect Romeo and Juliet story
Toddy: a Dobrik and a koshy
Alex: do your parents know?
David: No
Liza: and we're gonna keep it that way until we think they're ready
Heath: how longs this been going on?
Liza: nearly two months
Kristen: and you didn't tell us?!
They all make their way into the house worth their eyes still attached to us.
Gabbie: well I knew
Zane: and me
Carly: me too
David: they found out the beginning of this week
Liza: and we though we might aswell tell our friends so then we could spend time together at school and we trust you all
Heath: we will totally help you
Scotty: anything you need we'll help
We spent the rest of night watching films and doing random shit. It starts to get late so me and Gabbie decide to leave.
Gabbie: bye baby
She kisses him goodbye and goes and stands by the door while she waits for me.
Liza; I'll see you Monday right
David: of course you will
He pulls me into a kiss and I smile after we pull away
Liza: I love you bubs
David: I love you too L
I peel away from him and me and gabs lefts
Gabbie: I can't believe you told everyone
She says as I climb into the seat beside her
Liza: we decided it's the easiest option, and no one else at school can know they'll snitch
Gabbie: of course
