Lizas pov:

I step down from the pedastool and sit back with my family dressed in black.
The priest says a few words and music begins to play for everyone's exit and a quiet chatter fills the air. I feel Rachel come up beside me she grips my shoulder and gives me a reassuring smile before we walk out the doors our parents following behind us.
Ldad: what are they doing here?!
A very small smile fall on my lips as I see David leant against his car in his usual all black and his hat on his head. His head is hung low but pushes up when her hears my dads voice. Stood with him is his whole family all the dobriks. The dobriks and the Koshys face to face and I'm only waiting for a war to begin.
Aunt: no one invited you!
Dmom: we didn't want an invite!
Shouts and screams fill the air, I nod at David stood opposite me and he pushes himself off of the car and walks towards the middle of the two family's. I step towards him trying to stay strong and I see mason and Rachel stood beside us as we stand in the middle of this battle.
Liza: everyone be quiet!
They quiet down and stare at the four of us. I try to talk but only a whimper falls from my mouth.
I feel David's hand link with mine and he gently squeezes it.
Dmom: what are you doing boys get away from them!
They don't even look back at her.
Liza: we don't need to argue, there is no need for this feud to go on
Rachel: it's out dated and pointless
Mason: it's best you listen to what we have to say
David: this fight started when we owed the koshys money $300,000 to be exact
Rachel: after the dobriks paid their fee our grandfather claimed they hadn't and continued to harass there family until it drove their grandfather to suicide
Liza: you may not believe the words of the dobriks but we have found proof that the debt was paid
I reach into my purse and pull out the sheet of paper that will hopefully resolve all our problems. Rachel sees my nerves and takes the cheque from my hands and displays it for both families to see.
Rachel: this is a cheque from Joseph dobrik that pays $300,000 dated 40 years ago
Liza: we found this in grandfathers desk
Mason: and even so his feud died with those men and you're all only holding grudges
David: when there is no real reason to fight anymore
Liza: not that there ever was
They stay silent and stunned watching and listening to our evidence. We wait for one of them to step forward or say something anything.
Finally I see the crowd move and someone step out
Ldad: I think!... I think you're right
He comes up and gives Rachel and I a smile.
Ldad: like they said this war is outdated and we now have proof there is no reason to fight anymore
Ddad: but boys why the sudden interest in ending the feud you never cared before
David: that was before
He looks at me and I give him a nod of reassurance
David: that was before a fell in love with a koshy
We both grin at eachother and I can feel myself hold my breath waiting for a reaction.
