Zachary's POV
I just came back from Italy. I visited some family well my mother and father went to another part of London for a month and I wanted to get away so I went to Italy. My father had his security call me and tell me that he was on his way home so I had to say my Goodbyes and go back to royalty. My mother was a normal person. She fell in love with her prince, my father. We kept my mother's family kind of quiet for their sake. It is really hard trying to go out there because everyone knows me...well mostly. Claire. I do miss her deeply. I want her to come to me. I want to her be mine. I want her to smile and laugh because of me. I wish I could be open and not have to hide. I've been sending Claire gifts to her new home. Cash found out that she moved and helped me get her address. He did ask questions but, I pulled the Prince card and he didn't ask anymore. I asked him to keep it quiet, he agreed. I went to my car. I had asked my driver Jake if he and Lily wanted to have a trip to Italy. I would pay for everything, of course, he said yes to a free trip. I was on my way over to the palace with Jake. He had dropped Lily off on the way.
"How are you doing?" Jake asked at a red light
"Fine" I stated
"I meant now that your back...Are you going to call or better yet see Claire?" He asked quietly
I had told him about everything. I mean he didn't give me a chose. I knew he would understand. He didn't he thinks that if I tell her then she should be able to understand. He agree's how I don't want this royalty stuff to change her life. I mean its kind of weird how we meant. She's strong and she is fearless.
"Zach?" He called
"Uh, yeah sorry. I don't know...Don't you think the gifts are enough?" I asked
"She doesn't know who they are from. Do you honestly think she is going to say 'Oh Zach is giving me these? I know it'" He said the last part in a high pitch girl voice
"I don't sound like that and I didn't think that either," I said coldly
"I'm just saying Zach, Do you really want to marry some royal pain in the as- I mean sugar pop or go after someone you want to start a relationship" He replied with a chuckle
"I don't know...Please just take me home" I replied
"Alright" He sighed
After 20 minutes I started to realize we were going the long way to the palace.
"Where are you taking me?" I asked
"Home...just going to take longer than usual because I'm trying a new way" He replied
"You're not supposed to try new routes with me in the car" I stated
I looked out the window and saw that we were on Claire's street.
"TAKE ME HOME, I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS," I said loudly
"Then fire me...then you'll never get to go out at night" He stated
He pulled up by Claire's house.
"What are we doing here?" I asked
"Go see her dude" He stated
"No, Please take me back" I begged but, in a man way not girly girly
"Get out" He demanded getting out
"No...Fine...Wait No" I said standing outside the car trying to get back in but, he locked it
"Why not?" Jake asked
"I'm in my Prince suit" I replied
"Are not the Prince? You can tell her!" Jake yelled
"I don't know Jake," I said turning towards him
Just then a struggling bug pulled up. It was an old lady that I saw at the restaurant. She looked at me with wide eyes...Great. She stepped out and looked at me with confusion
"Ma'ma do you know where we could find Claire Mason?" Jake asked
"Well, your Royal Prince what do you want with her?" The lady replied
"I just wanted to apologize for the incident the other night" I lied but, actually needed to now that I thought about it
"Well if you don't mind me asking, how did you even find her?" She asked coming away from her car and onto the sidewalk
"That's confidential" Jake replied
"Well it may be but that's my daughter were talking about" She stated
"I had someone look her up in our special database" I replied
"Oh...Well, I don't know much but, she wanted to go to where we used to live and visit a friend then she was going to look around there. My guess, she's probably going to her quiet place" She smiled
"You know about the quiet place? I mean...She has one...That's cool. I gotta go thank you for everything and please don't tell her about this trip. It was confidential" I quickly said walking to the car
"Bye Prince Zachary," The old lady said
"Bye Mrs?" I waited for the last part
"Oh it's Ms....and calling me Cathy is fine" She smiled
"Well see you later Cathy" Jake smiled getting into the car
We drove off to the Water Fountain area and I walked to where Claire would be. I was so happy...I was going to see Claire. I walked into the little alleyway....made a turn and then.....
Claire's POV
"Hey?! How did you find me" I chuckled
"A friend told me you went over here" He smiled
I told my girls that probably told the boys, where my hideout was but, they were never allowed there.
"Oh" I smiled
"Sorry about the last time when we met it wasn't every-" I cut him off
"Hey, its fine. I actually wanted to hang out so I got up and made my way out but, you were gone...I'm sorry Drake" I replied
"Sorry? Why are you telling me that?" He asked
"Because I wanted to try things out and I said no...Maybe if you want we could hang out and start it slowly" I smiled
"I would love that" He smiled widely
