Humans are innately curious and love discovering new things. So we send a lot of probes outside Earth just to see the beauty of the universe and seek answers to the questions like, "are we alone? Is there other life out there? Any Earth-like planet?" So scientists figure out in creating a powerful telescope than Hubble and can receive 'alien' signals from our closest neighbor star, Alpha Centauri with the help of gravitational lensing. Gravitational Lensing is the sun's warping the fabric of space around by its strong gravity, creating focal points where the light comes together. The light from the distant stars follows the curved path caused by the sun's tremendous gravity. It is like the sun acts as a lens converging the passing lights so the star we see above at night is not their actual position. So we are actually looking at an optical illusion in the sky.

Hence, we will use gravitation lensing to strengthen the signal in transmitting the data back to our solar system with less energy required

Hence, we will use gravitation lensing to strengthen the signal in transmitting the data back to our solar system with less energy required. But the great challenge here is to place the detector on the right focal distance to collect the light which can generate a super high-quality image as Hubble space. Unfortunately, the nearest focal point is 550 AU (1 AU = distance between the sun and Earth) which is beyond the orbit of Pluto and the Kuiper Belt (*distance between Kuiper Belt and Alpha Centauri: 280,000 AU). Plus, there must be a receiver at the minimal focal distance in Alpha Centauri's territory, 794 AU to send an incoming and outgoing signal to the relay station at the sun's focal point. The relay stations must retain their precisely aligned position with respect to each other.

And if we successfully establish that method, we might be able to contact aliens or find a habitable planet for us to occupy and perhaps destroy its beautiful nature again
