Hyunjin's Pov-
.....

"Honey, did u feed the dog this morning? " my mom asked me as i put down the glass of milk i drank.
"Uh...... No" i don't pay much attention to the dog, it may sound harsh but...... I didn't feed him yesterday... 😐

"Then yesterday? "
" N-no..... "
"But whys the dog so healthy?" eomma looked outta the window, looking at the dog, who was chasing a butterfly.
"I don't know, he doesn't have mental issues right? "
" Oh for God's sake honey, dogs don't have mental problems!"
"Right, but isn't it wierd for him to be so healthy even tho i don't feed him properly? "
"Yeah......Look! the dog's going somewhere! Go and follow him! "
" Okay" i wore my sweater and slipped on my shoes.

Then i ran behind him, but it went through bushes. I bent down to see there was a tunnel inside the bushes. And i crawled inside.

I heard a cute voice talking to my dog and i quietly crawled out.
I saw a boy who sat on the stairs, this might probably be their backyard. He covered himself in a blanket and smiled cutely at my dog, giving him dog food.

Strange, how did they know each other? Wait, my dogs barking at me. The boy turned his head to see my frozen body.
But still, he smiled warmly and waved at me.
He must be a kind boy.

"Um.... Hi" i said awkwardly going to them.
"Hello, I'm Yang Jeongin" he stood up and bowed.
"I-I'm Hwang Hyunjin, nice to meet u" why am i stuttering?
"Is this ur dog? " he asked looking at the dog.
" Yes, it is"
"Does it have a name? " he asked, now looking at me with that smile of his, still plastered on his face.
" Cha-Changbin, he's a boy"
"That suits him so well..........I'm sorry, i didn't know it was somebody's dog, he doesn't have a collar. I've been feeding and playing with him. I hope u don't mind"

"Not at all! He actually had a collar, but he must've lost it. I don't give him much attention, so........ I'm thankful that u had taken care of him,Jeongin" geez........saying his name makes me have butterflies on my stomach man.
"Ur welcome, why don't u come in for tea? " i have to admit, he's a nice boy.
" Su-sure" i said as he gestured me to follow him.
And Changbin probably glared at me.
"What? Whats with the look? " i asked as he growled and proudly went inside the house.

" Young Master, is this a friend of urs? "asked one woman, probably a maid.
" Yes, he's Hwang Hyunjin "
" Oh! So my boy, ur Mrs.Hwang's son right? " she asked with a smile.
" Yes I am"
"Do u know him? " asked Jeongin
" He's ur mother's best friend's son. Remember the woman who came yesterday? "
" Yeah"
"Thats his mother"
"Oh! So Hyunjin, our eommas are friends. I hope we can be good friends too " Jeongin giggled.
" Yes, ofc"
"Would u two like to eat something?" asked the maid.
"What would u like Hyunjin?"
"I'm fine with anything"
"Why not a cup of tea and cakes?"
"I'd love to"
"Okay, can u please make a cup of cake and tea?" he asked the maid
" Sure, but..... A cup of cake?"
"Omo, i mean, a cup of tea!" he was really embarrassed as i laughed at his cuteness.

Jeongin's Pov
.....

I met a beautiful stranger.
And he happens to be the son of my mother's best friend.

I really like Hyunjin.

Hyunjin and Jeongin sat on the living room, face to face, sharing conversations about their lives.

"How old are u Jeongin?"
"I'm 17"
" I'm ur hyung! " Hyunjin laughed,"I'm 18"
"Woah, so u won't mind if i call u Hyung? " the younger grinned.
" Not at all!...........When did u move here? I never saw u"
"A few months ago, my mom got transferred here. We used to live in Osaka"
" So, which school do u attend? "
" I-I..... I.... "
" Hyunjin? " they both turned their heads to see both their mothers.
" M-Mom" they both said as Jeongin's mom smiled.
"So u knew each other before we planned" she said as Hyunjin stood up with Jeongin.
"Yes. Nice to meet u Mrs. Yang "
" Nice to meet u too Hyunjin"
"Hyung, lets talk in my room" Jeongin offered as the older nodded and they both went upstairs with Changbin, trailing behind them.

"Look at our gummy bears, they get along so well" said Hyunjin's mom.
"I know right, just like we did when we were younger"

When they entered Jeongin's room, Hyunjin awed. The room was clean, everything here was cute.
"U have a nice room Jeongin"
"Thank u hyung "
Hyunjin looked around smiling. But his smile soon faded away as he saw the photos on the walls and on the table.

It was probably a picture of him and his dad while he was younger. And a picture of him and a dog which was really similar to Changbin.
" Oh, that was my dog....... His name was Felix."
"He looks like Changbin"
"I know right. But sadly........he passed away last month. Thats why i love ur dog. He reminds me of Felix alot" the younger quickly wiped his tears, hoping his hyung wouldn't see. But he did.
"I'm sorry ...... " Hyunjin felt really bad for him. He must've loved the dog so much. Without any hesitation, he engulfed the younger into a hug as Jeongin cried, hugging his hyung.
There was complete silence, but they didn't mind.

(Jeongin probably had fun while hugging Hyunjin tho😏😏....)
