We talked, and talked.. for what felt like a couple minutes.. when in reality, it was hours. Being with Oli, my time flew fast.

I continuously talk to Oli about silly topics.

But.. we get interrupted.

It was my phone, once again.

My phone was getting calls non-stop from the same number.

Oli notices me starring at the phone.

"Hey, Lizzie.. why aren't you picking that phone call up?" He asks.

"It's an unknown number calling me nonstop."

"Weird. It could be an emergency, you should call the number back.." He replies.

"Okay." I say.

I call the number back, and they immediately pick up in seconds.

I put the call on speaker.

"I've been waiting for you to pick-up. So glad you finally did." The voice giggles.

The voice was a definitely a male. And a voice I felt like I recognized.

"Who are you?" I say, angrily.

"The real question is, why are you with Oli?"

Oli's face was shocked.

"How the heck does he know Oli?"

"Answer my question first!" I scream.

"Sure, but please repeat the question."

"Who are you?" I say, even louder and angrier.

"How about you look behind yourself, darling?"

I turn my neck around slowly...

"JOEL!" 

My heart was racing.

Joel ends the call, and puts it in his pocket and smiles.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" Oli screams

"Lizzie, I tracked down your phone.." Joel smiles.

"You're crazy!" Oli yelled

"I'm not the crazy one here! It's you who is crazy.. for taking Lizzie away from me.."

"You left her for some other girl!"

"I LOVE HER!"

"IF YOU LOVED HER SO MUCH, YOU WOULDN'T HAVE CHEATED ON HER!" Oli yelled

I almost have tears dripping from my eyes, I take a deep breath.

"Let's go, Oli." I say.

"Okay.."

I held onto Oli's hand and dragged him with me.

Joel's POV

I watched as they both left.

"I messed up.." He says to himself.

Back to Lizzie.

Oli and I arrived to his place.

"Thanks for coming to the picnic with me." Oli smiled at me.

"You're welcome.. and sorry about Joel.." I apoligize.

"It isn't your fault." He says. 

Oli puts his hand on my shoulder.

"You didn't know he was coming."

I smile at him, and he smiles even wider back.

"I love y- being friends with you!" Oli says.

I blush.

"Was he about to say I love you?" 

Oli's POV

"Oh god.. Did I mess something up? She isn't responding to me at all." 

"I can't believe I just almost said 'I love you'"

Back to Lizzie.

"...me too" I giggle.

Oli leaned in for a hug.. But there was a knock at my door.

"Sorry Oli, I'll get it."

"Oooh, ok.."

Lizzie opened the door.

"Scott? What are you doing here?" I ask.

"Hey Lizzie.. just came over to say hi."

"Oh alright. Hi then!"

"Did I ever tell you how beautiful your eyes are?"

"Oh.. um, thanks..."

"Lizzie? Why are you taking so long?" Oli shouted

"Olis at your home?" Scott asks.

"Yes, why?"

Scott turned around and slowly walked away

"That was weird."
