Author's Note: so, starting from April 1st I'll be participating in an event called Camp Nano, meaning I'm gonna be writing more frequently (or trying to)!

Cyan's POV

"So, this is all we got." Leo stated as we crowded around the large, rectangle wooden table, sheets of paper and important documents written in code scattered around the table, some sheets of paper on the floor. The table was cluttered with blueprints, various types of notes, printed, official notes containing facts and contracts, clustered in the mix of messy hand written pieces of paper containing addresses, names, dates. We had been doing recon work for a week now, gathering information from Ataro's couriers, soldiers, guards. Nights were spent hanging out at lively bars to dark alleyways, collecting information from innocent civillians to lowly street rats, from the corners of the Slugnet to illegal cavern travellers. I sat down on a chair, leaning forward to look at everything on the table, all the notes, all the blueprints. Tiffy sat on the arm rest of my chair, her gattler blaster lying on the coffee table as she studied notes about the soldiers' shifts. The aroma of spices wafted from the kitchen into my nostrils as Johnny and Kord came out of the kitchen, handing out plates of food everyone. Johnny quickly handed me a plate, before taking a seat next to Alana, handing her and Leo a plate. I looked down at my plate, frowning at the cuts of pork that lay on the plate of vegatables, rice, quinoa and pork, flavoured by various exotic spices. I was about to push it away when I saw Johnny glaring at me from the other side of the table, telling me to eat it no matter how picky I was. I gave him a sheepish smile, taking a spoon of the rice and pork, putting it in my mouth, before I savoured the taste, the texture if he well cooked pork. As someone that didn't like meat, it's a compliment when even I liked it.

"We got a layout of the place from this pandrive, but it was damaged, so we're missing the last few floors and the location. But based off this, we got something solid. According to this layout, the whole thing's built underground." Leo told the rest of us as he took out a holotablet, plugging in the pandrive, revealing a detailed layout of Ataro's base. I looked at it from top to bottom, the floors labelled and titled.

"How are we gonna get in, Pompour?" Maie asked, teasing him with her pet name for him with a smirk as she fidgeted with the round, flat, admiral blue amulet around her neck. Leo frowned at the nickname, but brushed it off as he told her,

"We're gonna use a Crystalyd, drill a hole into the first floor at 2:50am sharp. There's a ten minute gap between each four hour shift, so we only have ten minutes."

"Got anything on how the place is built?" She asked quickly, but Junjie, who had been sitting down on another chair beside her, glancing down at the healing stitches on his chest he had after the operation to get all the Geoshard Crystal out while trying to decode the coded documents along with Trixie, wordlessly handed a rolled up blueprint of the wall to Maie, who accepted it, their hands brushing against each other's, Junjie blushing furiously as he turned back to the coded documents, trying to decode them. She unrolled it, her raven black eyes squinting at the blueprint, her thin lips twisted into a frown. As she did, I looked at her, my eyes drawn to the admiral blue and raven black amulet around her neck, the amulet seeming strangely familiar, but I couldn't note down why.

"Leo, drilling a hole into the wall would be fucking impossible." She told us grimly as she flattened a blueprint of the structure of the wall on the table, pointing at various parts of the wall: metal poles running through the material to keep it in place, five thick layers of different materials making up the walls.

"Why?" I questioned as I took a bite of the food, and Maie looked back down at the blueprint, pointing at the layers.

"Because the walls, floors and ceilings are twelve feet thick walls of tungsten, titanium, chromium, Geoshard Crystal and something called Dark Crystal. I don't know what Dark Crystal is, but there's a reason I made my arm with tungsten, titanium and chromium. They're the strongest metals in existence. And there's a reason why the best armour is made of Geoshard Crystal. Trying to drill a hole into the wall will do irreversable damage to your slug." She told me, and Leo grimly nodded, agreeing,
