Austin's POV

As we were warming up in our dressing room before the concert, part of me couldn't stop thinking about our jerk technician. How dare he speak to my sweet Ally like that?

There was a knock on the door and I went to answer it.

It was our drummer. "5 minutes," he informed.

I smiled and thanked him before shutting the door.

Ally walked over, clearly nervous.

"I can't believe we're about to perform in Paris," she said, her voice shaky. She was pacing a little.

I chuckled and put my hands on her shoulders to stop her. "Babe, look at me."

She took a deep breath and looked up at me.

Smiling, I kissed her nose. "Everything is gonna be fine. We are gonna put on a great show. And you wanna know how I know?"

"How?"

"Because it's you and me. We can do anything when we're together."

She looked at the floor, but I saw the corners of her lips start to turn up.

"There's that beautiful smile." I kissed her forehead and took her hand. "You ready?"

Her smiled widened. "Yeah, I'm ready."

We walked backstage and when we were given our cue, we ran on stage.

"What's up, Paris?" I yelled into my mic. The audience cheered wildly.

"Thank you so much for coming!" Ally said, her voice the same volume as mine. "You ready to have some fun?"

The audience cheered in response and the concert began.

Ally's POV

Austin and I ran through all of our numbers and soon we were at our last song.

The audience had finally calmed down from our last song so I could explain the duet.

"We hope you guys have had fun tonight," I started. "This last song is once Austin and I pretty much just finished writing. It's about our four year we spent apart and the emotions we experienced. This song is called Rewrite the Stars." (AN: so this song is from The Greatest Showman but it's perfect for Auslly so just pretend they wrote it)

Austin and I smiled at each other as the music started. (Another AN: i'm not gonna write out the lyrics just pls go listen to it it's so good.)

"You know I want you," I sang, ending the song. "It's not a secret I try to hide. But I can't have you. We're bound to break and my hands are tied."

By then, Austin and I were facing each other, our faces inches apart.

The immense applause started and I smiled, pulling Austin into a long, deep kiss.

He wrapped his arms around me, pulling me closer.

We finally pulled apart and addressed the audience.

Holding hands, we smiled and waved to them before running off stage.

"That was awesome!" I said happily and we hugged tightly before going out for our meet and greet.

Austin's POV

As we walked back to the hotel, I took a deep breath. Tomorrow was the day I'd propose to Ally.

Here we go.
