Latvia could practically feel his heart beating faster as he led Masha through the hallways. Why was she making him feel this way? He didn't know anything about her!
She stopped right before they reached the corner, and he turned to look at her questioningly.
"I can find Lithuania from here," she said. "Thank you for the help, though. And remember, you have to be brave."
She disappeared around the corner before he could ask what she was talking about, and he stood there thoroughly confused. What had she meant by that?__________________________________________________
"What do I do now?" Masha asked, watching Lithuania closely.
"I g-guess you have some free time," Lithuania said, carefully avoiding her eyes.
"Are you done yet?" she asked.
"N-no . . ."
"Then I'll help you," Masha smiled, and he felt her hand on his shoulder. "You don't have to do it alone, you know."
