Chapter Fourteen: Vlade's neck pain

One night,

Jamal and Nikola were sounded asleep in the master bedroom. Vladè wakes up feeling the stiffness on his neck. Yet, he calls out to his father.

Vladè: Tata? Tata? Can you come here please?

Nikola wakes up to the sound of Vladè calling out.

Nikola Jokić: Hey Vladè, what happened?

Vladè: Tata, my neck is hurting.

Nikola Jokić: Awww, that sucks. Let me put the supporter.

Nikola grabs the neck supporter thing from the bathroom as he shows it to Vladè.

Nikola Jokić: Do you want me to help you with putting it on?

Vladè: Yes please.

Nikola helps Vladè put on the supporter on his neck. Even though Vladè had to sleep it on. It was the neck pillow and the next thing he would do is put a pain relieving cream around Vlade's neck. Vladè pouts as he noticed that the neck pain he had was still bothering him.

Nikola Jokić: Does it hurt when I press it?

Vladè: If you can try.

Nikola gives Vladè the squeeze on the neck, using his fingers.

Vladè: ow!

Nikola Jokić: It hurts, huh?

Vladè nods.

Jamal Murray: What happened?

Vladè: Mama, my neck hurts.

Jamal Murray: Awww, I'm sorry.

Jace: Get better soon.

Vladè: thanks Bratar.

Jace: Mhm.

Vladè: I can't deal with this neck issues, Tata.

Nikola Jokić: Bummer. Do you want me to sleep beside you?

Vladè: Yes Tata.

Nikola Jokić: You know, Nikola is making sure that my mini-me isn't suffering from the neck pain.

Vladè: Oh Tata.

When it was 5:50am,

Vladè and Nikola were both asleep. Vladè rolls himself on the bed and said. "Tata, it's too cold," Nikola placed the extra blanket to keep him and himself warm. Vladè tries to stretch, but the neck pain was still there.

Vladè: Dang it. I can't stretch.

Nikola wakes up. He rubbed his eyes from the sleep.

Nikola Jokić: Really?

Vladè: Yes Tata.
