Goodbye by beautiful little baby
You'll be in my heart.
I love you so much, I hope that you read this somehow.
I guess this isn't really a goodbye. More of a thank you

11 years ago you came into my life, and I couldn't have asked for any greater blessing.
You've been my best friend for longer than anyone else has. You've stayed with me no matter what. Through moving. Through the ups and downs. Through everything else.
Thank you for your love and kindness.
Thank you for the naps that we shared.
Thank you for all the cuddles and goodnight kisses.
Thank you for your soft fur and comforting purr.
Thank you for your warmth during the winter.
Thank you for being goofy and making me laugh.
And most importantly, thank you for being there when no one else was.

I remember watching your breathing stop, and watching you go limp on my lap. I remember sprinkling petals over your body. I remember watching as dirt covered the box, concealing your body in the earth for eternity. I'll miss you so much, so much my bean.
And I hope your spirit will run through the night sky and dance in circles around the stars, and please, Midnight, watch over us with care.
