I woke up the next morning still shocked from last nights dinner. Arranged marriage? I rubbed my eyes and could still feel the dried up tears on the side of my cheeks. I still couldn't believe it.

I rolled over and opened up my phone. It was 8:42 a.m., on a Saturday. I wanted to sleep in, but my body wouldn't let me. My phone started to ring, it was from an unknown number. I decided to answer it.

"Hello?" My tired voice spoke.

"Good Morning, Sleeping Beauty! Did I wake up the Princess?" It took me a second to realized that I gave my number to Jax yesterday.

"Jax?"

"The one and only, princess." I really hated this stupid nickname that he thinks will stick. It's really starting to piss me off.

"Please, stop calling me that. Why are you calling?" I asked, getting out of my bed and stretching myself.

"How about you get dressed and come have breakfast with me." I started to chuckle. Breakfast? He can't be serious.

"Breakfast? I barely know you, why on Earth would you want to have breakfast or even be seen with me?" I starting looking out the window and saw someone with a black motorcycle parked in the front of my house. "Are you outside of my house??"

"Why, yes! I can see you from your window." He waved. "Damn, those pj's look sexy on you." I walked away from the window. "Come down, or I'll tell your family how you like to hang out with good old Mary Jane."

I rolled my eyes. I wish I never smoked in front of him. "Fine, I'll be down in 5 minutes." I hung up the phone and threw a t-shirt and pants on as fast as I could and slipped into some sneakers. As I was about to grab my purse, but mother knocked on the door and came in.

"Where are you headed, sweetie?" She asked, I had to think up something clever. I picked up my backpack and slipped my purse into it.

"I have to tutor someone this morning. We are going to have breakfast and then we'll start studying." I threw my backpack on my back.

"Are you tutoring that boy that's in front of our house?" I nodded, but my mother wouldn't let me leave.

"Can I please leave? It's a special class assignment that I have to do, otherwise I won't pass." I lied, again.

"Very well, but you need to be back before dinner, Nathan is taking you out on your first date." My mother seemed pretty excited.

I nodded and quickly walked out the door. I was relieved that my mother wasn't going to come out and introduce herself.

Jax looked up from his phone and grinned. "It's about time, hop on and don't let go, princess." As I got onto his bike and wrapped my arms around his waist. The bike roared to life, I was scared for him to start driving, but once we were off. I felt a rush of adrenaline.

Something I haven't felt in a long time.

Jax drove up to Denny's and parked the bike. I didn't want to get off his bike. When we walked in, I noticed one of the more popular groups were also there, having breakfast too. Savannah Walter noticed me and walked over to Jax and I.

"Jaxy, why are you here with her?" she said as she traveled her hand up and down his arm. I think they dated a year ago, but I can't remember if they did or not. I hid my face in shame. "Why don't you come and have breakfast with me, baby?"

"No can do. I'm having breakfast with just my princess." He smirked at me, I tried to hide the fact that I was blushing. Savannah gave me a dirty look as we sat down.
