Chapter 10: Stupid Decisions

It was weird when I sat down at the kitchen table. Vicki was here and Brandon didn't look too happy when Jax walked into the kitchen. He had left my room and went back to his room, last night. To me, I felt that it was so uncomfortable. I was waiting for the fighting to begin.

Vicki say the look on my face and knew right away that something was up. She just sipped her coffee. Jax got a cup of coffee and sat down next to me. His elbows on the table holding his head up. He was definitely hungover.

"So, Jax. About what you said last night." Brandon paused as Jax was rubbing his head. "Is it true?"

Jax groaned. "Man, I don't remember last night. You are gonna have to recap what I supposedly said."

"Well." Brandon got up and crossed his arms, leaning against the counter. "Is it true that you slept with my sister." I almost choked on my coffee. Jax looked up, his hands still rubbing his forehead.

"No, she's your little sister. I wouldn't do that." Jax lied. "Is that what I said?"

"Yes. You got into an argument with Savannah so I sent her home. Then you kept trying to wake up Maddie and saying that wanted to fuck her." Brandon paused and looked at me. "Seriously, what the fuck is going on? If there is anything going on, I want to know."

I stood up and grabbed my coffee. "Nothing is going on, Brandon. Nothing has ever happened between us or ever will." I took a sip and headed towards the front door. "You don't have to worry. I'm actually dating Danny."

"Good, I'm glad. I like Danny." he said as I smiled and went outside on the front porch. Vicki followed and sat down next to me.

"Okay, what is going on between you too? I need details!" Vicki said, taking a sip of coffee.

"You can't tell my brother." I paused and sighed. "Jax and I had sex, again." Vicki's eyes widen. "I know, I'm a terrible person."

"No, I don't think you are a bad person, but I think it is so romantic. You and him sneaking around, trying to not get caught." Vicki said smiling. "Jax is really hot, but he doesn't know what he wants. Danny does. I would see how it goes with Danny."

She was right. Jax didn't know what he wanted. He was just using me for sex. I really did wanted to give Danny a chance, I felt bad that I cheated on him with Jax. I had to talk to Jax and end all this shit. I wanted to be with someone who wanted me for more than just sex.

"I'm gonna talk to Jax when Brandon goes to bring you home." I said.

After Brandon left, I sat down in the living room with Jax. I took a deep breathe and looked at him. "We can't do this anymore."

"Do what?"

"Sex, kissing, making out, or anything. I can't believe I had sex with you, again."

"You didn't say no. I know it was just as amazing the first time, even better, if I may add." Jax smirked. He put his hand on my leg, slowly moving it up.

"No!" I pushed away his hand and stood up. "No more! Last night, you told my brother that we had sex and I'm glad he didn't believe it, but I can't risk him finding out and you being kicked out onto the streets." I paused, throwing my hands in the air. "Because of you, I cheated on Danny. A guy that wants to be with me, not just for sex."

Jax stood up in front of me, looking down. "Be with me. I'll give you everything that Danny can't."

"You can't. I want a guy that isn't afraid to be with me and wants to take me out on romantic dates. I want the romance, Jax. You don't know what it is to be in a relationship." I backed away from him. "Just leave me alone, please." I walked out of the house and walked down the street to the nearby beach. I took my shoes off and sat in the sand.
