I walked into the room and set the food down onto the table and sat down.
"what if we just talk instead of watch something?" Chris suggested
"sure" i said turning my body to face him
"I can see you got rid off your crutches" he said pointing to my leg
"yup, it was too hard for me so i went to the doctor to see if there was an alternative and he just gave me a boot."
"We can be like puss and boots" he said laughing.
i just sat there looking at him with a straight face
"that wasn't funny" i said to him
"you know it was" he said wiggling his eyebrows
"the only funny thing was how funny you thought it was"
"you know you want to laugh" he said poking me
"no i dont" i said hold in my laughter
"yes you do" he said starting to tickle me
soon enough me attacked me and i started laughing so hard.
"Chris...........s-stop......." i said in between laughs
when he stopped he was hovering over me, inches away from my face.
"you have really pretty eyes" he said to me
"wow, such a typical pick up line"
"I thought you liked cheesy pick up lines. How about this? kiss me if im wrong but dinosaur still exist right?" he said smiling at me
"i would kiss you but technically dinosaurs still exist because birds evolved from 'ancient' dinosaur, and even some crocodiles are ancestors"
"fine, well i guess im going to have to try another one. Kiss me if im wrong but unicorns exist right?"
"oh well, you got me there"
i smiled at him and he started to lean in and i did the same. I could feel the butterflies in my stomach. I just wanted his lips to connect to mine now, I needed it. right when they where about to connect someone interrupted us.
"whoa, uh" Chris and i both looked to see Daniel in the door way
Chris got off of me and looked at Daniel.
"oh uh, sorry man"
"its fine, nothing i haven't seen before"
I looked at Daniel with wide eyes.
"what?"
"i mean, its fine." he turned around and left.
I looked out at the glass door.
"hey, its a nice day, lets go outside"
"ok mom"
i laughed and smacked him on the arm. We walked out of the door and let the sun hit us. I looked around and saw the boys in the backyard. I was about to say something to chris but i saw a shadow above my head. I looked up and saw a football flying at my head. It was about to hit me when chris reached his hand out and caught the ball.
"nice catch" i said opening my eyes
"Hey chris, pass" Jack yelled
"whos that" chris whispered to me
"Jack" i whispered to him laughing
"here jack" he threw the ball in a perfect spiral
"Damn, nice throw. Wana join?" Jonah said
chris looked at me asking for aproval.
"of course" i said in a duh tone
he ran over to the boys like a little kid. It was adorable.

Chris and the boys had seem to be getting along a lot. I could tell that Daniel was trying to get along with him, im really happy that at least he is putting in effort. we where all still outside and the sun was starting to set. It was beautiful. I love sunsets, i feel like they are telling me, its ok you can try again tomorrow. I just feel like it is a replay button. I know thats like way too deep than it needs to be but oh well.
"hey, its getting cold. We are going inside, come on" Zach said to me
"alright" i got up from the grass and walked inside with everyone
we walked into the kitchen and everyone started to eat random stuff.
"Hey, well im going to head out. Its getting late" chris said
"alright, ill walk you to the door"
we walked into the living room and i opened the door.
Chris looked at me and before he could say anything i kissed him. He kissed back and my stomach felt like a zoo.
"unicorns dont exist" i said smiling at him
He left and i closed the door. I turned round to be face with corbyn.
"you really like him dont you?"
"No-" I was interrupted by Daniel. I looked over and saw Daniel leaning against the door frame of the kitchen.
"I know you. You've been acting so gushy and smiley. You only act like this when you.....when you like someone"
"He just makes me laugh and... happy"
"That's all that matters" Daniel walked back into the kitchens and corbyn looked at me.
"Do you think he is ok?"
"He is ok as long as you are happy" corbyn said to me.
"I hope"
