Billie's POV:

I heard the sound of my alarm and growled. I stretched my hand to reach for my phone and turned off the alarm.
I scarcely opened my eyes and stared at the ceiling.

What if they don't like me?

What if I don't make any friends?

What if I'm all alone?

Different questions were going around my mind. I decided to get up so that I can forget them.

I got in the washroom and washed my face with the cold water.
Then I got in the kitchen and I saw my mom sleeping on the table of the kitchen.

"Why doesn't she sleep on her bed?"

I said to myself and got a bowl, threw some cereal in it and then poured the milk.

After I had finished with my breakfast, I got back in my room and picked an outfit. (pic below:)

Thankfully, the school wasn't that far from our house and it'd take me only 15 minutes to arrive.

I grabbed my backpack and left...

At school...

It was time to get in our class but WHERE WAS MY CLASS?

I started walking fast around the hallways.

I was so close to getting a panic attack until a lady stopped me.

lady: Did you get lost?

billie: Actually, I'm new to this school and I don't know where is my class.

I said as I looked down at my feet.

lady: I think you're in my class. My name is Mrs Park. Follow me!

I followed her and we entered together in the class.

I was ready to go and take a seat in the back when she grabbed me by my backpack and stopped me in front of the class.

Mrs Park: Would you like to introduce yourself to your classmates?

I swallowed hard and nodded.

B: I-I'm Billie. I l-like music, especially s-singing! I...

I stayed silent as I was trying to think something else I could say.

Mrs P: I think that was enough! You can go sit anywhere you want.
