BILLIE's POV:

I was lying on my bed, laughing on my own.
Then I heard a knock on my door and the my smile faded in a fraction of a second.

I stood up and dragged my feet to the door and unlocked it.

My mom pushed me out of the way and entered in my room.

M: This thing where you lock the door of your room has to stop!

B: It's my room so I can do whatever the hell I want!

I snapped.

M: I can't shout at you so don't irritate me any more!

B: Oh! So... I was right! You act like a good and caring mother in front of him even though you're still the bitch you always were! You're such a gold digger!

As soon as the words escape from my mouth I instantly regret it.

I mean, it was the truth but still, she's my mother.

Her hand slid across my face making a loud sound.

I felt dizzy at first but I didn't do anything.

I just stared down at my feet.

M: You've always been a brat! You make me overreact, I'm not a sadist or some shit!

B: Get out of my room.

M: What makes you think you can obey ME?

B: I SAID GET OUT OF MY ROOM!

Before she has the time to react Charlie comes in.

C: Aye, what's the matter with you two?

I roll my eyes.

B: Can both of you get the fuck out of my room?

I asked calmly as I rested my hand on my forehead.
If this kept going on, I would get a headache.

M: Watch your language!

Charlie wrapped his arm around my mom's waist and they quit my room.

B: Finally!

I exclaimed to myself and went back to bed.

I looked in my contacts for Diego and videocalled him.

After, like, 4 seconds he picked it up.

D: What's wrong babe?

Him calling me names like this, always caused a riot of butterflies in my stomach.

B: Everything's wrong!

I said and sighed.

D: It's okay, that's what I'm here for.

We kept on talking for almost 2 hours until I noticed his eyes getting heavy.

B: Maybe I should let you sleep now.

D: No worries. I want to sleep to the sound of your voice.

A grin formed on his lips making me giggle.

D: Oh Gosh, Billie! If only you knew what you're doing to me.

He opened his eyes to look at my reaction but literally I was expressionless.

D: I've never been in love with someone that much, do you know that?

B: How do I know that you didn't say these things to your exes? (a/n: not sure if this is how you spell it correctly)

D: You don't but why wouldn't you trust me?

B: Becuase I have trust issues. For example my mom said she actually changed and today she came to my room acted like the bitch she's always been.

D: Damn baby!

I smiled.

D: I guess I gotta go to sleep now. Goodnight babygirl!

My heart started pounding faster when he called me "babygirl".

B: Goodnight Diego.

I blew a kiss and he pretended to catch it.

We both laughed.

D: I love you Billie Eilish!

These were his last words and before I can even retort he hung up...
