The Beauty Tames the Beast

Prologue

My head is throbbing in pain as I slowly opened my eyes. I scanned the surroundings. It's an old and abandoned warehouse. Sinubukan kong igalaw ang mga kamay ko pero may nakataling makapal na lubid dito. The rough exterior of the rope digs into my skin. I gritted my teeth.

"Ami!" sigaw ko nang makita ko siyang nakahandusay malapit sa akin. Wala siyang malay. May tumutulong dugo mula sa noo niya. Kaagad na nangilid ang mga luha ko. "Ami..."

Unti-unti niyang idinilat ang mga mata niya at pinagmasdan ako. A tear escaped from her eyes as her lips trembled in fear. "Si K-Kuya Zero..."

I froze in my position when I heard heavy footsteps behind. I turned around and saw a tall man in a white circus mask. Mabibilis ang mga hakbang niya.

"Gising na pala ang aking Reyna..." he mused out loud. Nilagpasan niya ako at nilapitan si Ami. He grabbed her chin and forced her to look at him. "Did you missed me, Amier?"

Ami glared at him.

"Let her go!" galit kong sigaw pero hindi niya ako pinansin.

"How about we have a little fun, huh?" he said in a playful tone. Tapos ay binalingan niya ako. Even with the mask, I could feel the intensity of his eyes burning right through me. "We have a very special audience for our special performance tonight, Ami..."

I stared in horror as he started unbuckling his belt. My little sister trembled in fear. Sinigawan ko siya nang malakas pero umalingawngaw lamang ang aking galit na boses sa loob ng bodega.

"Bitawan mo siya!!" halos dumugo na ang nanginginig kong labi sa matindi kong pagkagat. Nagdidilim na din ang paningin ko. My sister screamed when the man ripped her clothes off. "Bitawan mo siya! Pakawalan mo si Ami!" mas lalo pang lumakas ang sigaw ko.

But there was nothing I could do but watch. My sister struggled against him at first but after a few minutes, her body grew limp. Bumagsak ang ulo niya sa semento at tumitig sa akin. Her eyes are empty and her lips are trembling as the man pounded on her.

Tulo nang tulo ang mga luha ko habang pinagmamasdan ang sarili kong kapatid na ginagahasa sa harapan ko.

"Ami..." my voice was hoarse from shouting and crying out loud. "Ami!!!"

The man ignored me and continued pumping inside and out.

"Fuck you! Papatayin kita! Papatayin kita!" paulit-ulit kong sigaw pero wala akong nagawa. Masyadong mahigpit ang tali sa likuran ko. Tears clouded my vision.

The rage inside of me intensified when the man groaned and slammed back into her, probably shooting his load inside of my sister. Nanginginig ang mga kalamnan ko. Ang butil ng pawis sa aking noo ay tulo nang tulo.

"Ami... bitawan mo siya... please..." hikbi ko.

My sister just stared blankly at me.

"Shit!" isang malakas na yapak ang narinig ko mula sa likuran. "Ano bang ginagawa mo?!" hinigit niya ang lalaki mula sa pagkakapatong kay Ami at sininghalan ito. The man is also wearing a clown's mask. "Paparating na sila!"

I glanced and saw my older brother who passed out because of his bruises. Tulo nang tulo ang dugo mula sa kaniyang tagiliran. Mas lalong sumidhi ang galit ko sa ginawa nila sa mga kapatid ko.

The man obliged and dragged my sister out of the warehouse. Binalingan ako ng kararating pa lang na lalaki at kinaladkad din papalabas.

"Saan mo ako dadalhin? Bitawan mo ako! Bitawan mo ako!!" sigaw ko sa kanya.

Isang malakas na suntok sa tiyan ang natamo ko mula sa lalaki. The pain exploded in my stomach and traveled into my head, causing my vision to spin. Itinulak niya ako papasok ng kotse. Katabi ko ang lalaking kararating lang samantalang si Ami naman ay nasa shotgun seat.

Kaagad kong inabot ang kamay niya kahit na nahihirapan ako.

"It's fine... it's fine..." tumulo na ang mga luha sa mata ko. "We're going to be okay, Ami..."

Hindi niya ako sinagot. Mabilis na pinaandar ng lalaki ang sasakyan at lumayo sa bodega. Three police cars are trailing after us. Mura nang mura ang lalaki sa likuran.

My sister remained silent on her seat. Nakatingin siya sa malayo. She's probably undergoing shock of what had happened.

She flicked her gaze towards man beside her and suddenly grabbed the steering wheel. Napamura nang malakas ang lalaki nang biglang lumiko ang sasakyan.

"What are you doing, you bitch!" itinulak niya si Ami palayo. Akmang tatayo na sana ako sa upuan nang hinigit ako ng lalaki mula sa likuran. He pinned me down. I felt the car spun around. My sister kicked the steering wheel again and pressed a foot on the accelerator.

Before I knew it, we went spiraling down the edge of a cliff. The sound of metal scraping against the rough pavement of the road pierced through my ears. Isang nakakabinging sigaw ang lumabas mula sa bibig ni Ami bago tuluyang nahulog ang sasakyan.

I felt something hard hit the back of my head and the car window on my side shattered into pieces.

From then on, everything in my life went black.
