a few minutes pass and jimin hasnt said a word as he hugs jaehee, who's having a panic attack.
"i, i, i dont know, i dont know why i, i keep lying, b," she tries to take a breath because jimin said so. "but i, i lie, and i lie, and i lie, and, and i, i dont stop. i c, cant stop. i wanted to make people hap, happy b, by—"
"dont finish that sentence," jimin growled lowly, his voice firm as he hugs her harder.
everything's silent.
"ive heard him talking to you on the phone," jimin tears up, the very memory of screaming in his mind. "i heard all the yells, and the cries, and even though i couldnt hear your voice, i heard your silent screams for help before i heard your voice. i heard them before i saw, meet, even before I talked to you."
his voice breaks.
"he loves you," he whispers. "more than you know."
