I shot forward and covered my mouth, trembling.

If I scream no doubt Mom and Dad will get concerned.

And they get concerned I can't do anything fun...

Did that come off as too Dad?

Anyway I clambered out of bed and opened my window.

I'm not trying...vapor travel again until I'm sure how it works.

I passed out for four days. So I beat Nico in that regard. And the fact I actually made it to my destination.

But back to the actual thing I'm doing here.

I'm sneaking out you idiots.

I made my way through the...okay not through the streets.

It was more of on rooftops.

Either way I was...

Making my way...to the docks.

Not cause I wanted to see my father.

After all it's his fault that I went through all this schist.

I walked to the end of the dock and sat down staring out over the water.

The waves lapped at my ankles, which probably would have been really annoying if I wasn't able to dry them.

There were footsteps, but I ignored them.

If anyone tries anything...I am right next to the water after all.

"Hello." A voice said from behind me.

No really? I thought it would have been infront of me.

I didn't look at whoever it was...though the voice sounded familiar.

"May I sit here?"

"Go ahead. I don't own the place."

The boy, I'm going off the voice okay, sat next to me and I snuck a glance at him.

It was Kaldur. One of Artemis's friends...and Aqualad.

Man if Dad ever finds out about me hanging out with not two but three sidekicks he's gonna flip.

Actually he'll flip if he finds out about Rob.

I don't think he'd care too much about Artemis.

"You are Artemis's friend correct?"

I nodded. "Yeah. She and I go way back."

"Do you know about her extracurricular activities?"

"Yep. She's always been stubborn...just like another blonde I knew." I sighed, thinking about Annabeth.

Despite our parents' rivalry we were best friends.

To the point where she knew about my double life...

She was the only one.

"Knew?"

I didn't respond to that, instead choosing to stare intently at the water.

"I am sorry."

I shook my head. "It's not your fault. If it's anyone's... it's mine."

"Do not blame yourself. I am sure you could not have changed things."

"Sounds nice on paper. But it was my fault...just like some other things." Looking up at the sky I smiled sadly, Zoë's constellation visible even with all the light pollution.
