Well, let's review the last couple of days. Shall we? I ruined my chances with Katie. We're faking being in a relationship. I think she's ignoring all the clues about me liking her. She hates me more now that we're faking. You know what, hate is a strong word. I bet she just really, really, really doesn't like me.
When I was so completely absorbed in my thoughts, Jason snuck up on me and said, "Hey. Me and the guys are having a karaoke night. Wanna come?"
"Sure."
"It's at 7:00."

I got to Zeus Cabin at 7:03. Something was up. No one was their usual crazy, annoying self. Percy, Jason, Leo, Frank, and Nico were all trying to act casual. Trying being the key word.
"Hi, Travis," said Percy. He sounded innocent, but anyone who knew him knew that that was the cover for his scared self. He was really cheery for a guy who went through Tartarus.
"Hi?" I replied.
"Okay. Let's pick names out of a hat for who goes first," said Leo.
"Why? I'll go," I question.
"Okay. What song?" asks Jason. Youtube search bar ready.
"Um. How about Breakeven by The Script?"
"Nice," noted Nico.

Then I saw Leo with a camera smiling. "Travis, Travis, Travis. We thought we were going to embarass you infront of Katie, it was live, but we just made you look better. Well, that plan backfired."
My eyes went wide, my face got red, and my mouth dropped. Who knows what she was thinking.
