In the Alternate Universe, where Nero never killed her parents, he had a sister. Who married our favorite little geek Chekov (R.I.P Anton :( ). While she married our favorite grumpy lumberjack, Bones.
In the Alternate Universe, Her mother trained her to become a doctor while Melissa(her sister), became a tactical officer. Their father had tried to win Anya over with Engineering but Anya had always had an interest in Xenobiology.
There are three things that didn't happen in the Alternate Universe.
1) She never would have met Kristian. 2) Pike never would have became her godfather. 3) She never would have became an instructor in the academy.
Since her parents were alive, they would've made sure she had the best childhood. She grew up with Jim and met her husband in the academy. Her sister followed and the rest is history.
