I screamed as Aspen punched the boy. I don't know why I kept staring at the guy but I felt like I was under a spell.
The boy grabbed Aspen by the neck and started dragging him out of the water. I couldn't stop screaming as I watched the guy lift Aspen up so his feet wouldn't touch the ground. He struggled but couldn't get out of the guy's grasp.
Then I saw the a white and red streak and instantly knew that Red was gonna save Aspen. The guy dropped Aspen.
I walked out of the water and asked, "What's your name?"
He grinned and said, "Makayla."
Aspen, Red, and I bursted out laughing.
"Not cool!" he shouted.
"So Makayla what were your parents drinking when you were born?" laughed Red.
"Nothing! You guys are jerks!!" Makayla hissed, "Goodbye!" He ran away. I know we're gonna see him again.
Red glared at Aspen and whispered something that I couldn't hear. Oh well.
I looked out at the lake and noticed that the sun was setting. Time to run again.
