~Mia's pov~

I stood up from the beach chair, getting as far away as I could.

Jack suddenly pulled me into a hug.

All the other boys were around us, protecting me.

Suddenly Logan took a step forward to Jake.

"Look, now little brother, leave the girl alone. She is not yours." He said to Jake.

Wait.. LITTLE BROTHER!?!

I slowly tense up.

Jake chuckled,

"And you think I'll just leave her alone? Her blood is worth anything," He said, his eyes turning red while looking at me.

Jack's grip got tighter.

"Now, now, Jakey, remember our deal. No human blood, especially hers." Logan said, pointing at me.

"Logan." He said while closing his eyes.

Logan looked at Jake with hope in his eyes.

"I-i" Jake sighed.

"Forget about our deal. She's mine!" He said smirking, opening his eyes to reveal blood shot red.

Jake started running towards us, but Logan got to Jake on time.

"GET HER OUT OF HERE!!" Logan screamed at Jonah, which Jonah just nodded.

Jack picked me up, bridal style, and started running the opposite direction of Jake and Logan.

Jack was running so fast, the other boys following right behind us.

I put my hands around his neck, and buried my head into his chest.

It was scary, going 20 mps, but,

Jack knew it wasn't enough.

Jake could easily keep up.

Daniel started to go ahead of Jack, and Jack passed me to Daniel.

"Don't worry princess, we'll keep you safe" Daniel said to me, while kissing my forehead.

Daniel started running, which was surprisingly faster than Jack, it was like 50 mps now.

I held on him tighter than before.

We suddenly arrived at an old abandoned house.

Daniel carried me inside.

He set me down, and held my hand.

"Listen to me Mia, you're everything to us, we can't afford losing you, and-" He stopped his sentence and looked around.

He sniffed the air.

His eyes became wide-eyed.

"He's here.." Daniel said growling.

Jake then came into view.

"Here's my blood bag" He says, making eye contact with me.

Suddenly, I felt pain going through my body.

"AHHH!!" I screamed in agony and knelt on the ground.

Daniel went to me,

"Hey, hey, what's wrong?" Daniel says in a panicked and worried tone.

"MAKE IT STOP!! IT BURNS!! I screamed, it hurt so much that I started crying.

Daniel looked at Jake.

"You little-" before Daniel could finish he already shifted into his wolf form and attacked Jake.

I was on the floor, breathing heavily, I was hyperventillating.

It hurt, it was burning everything in me.

I saw Daniel throw Jake at the wall, which hit him in the face, which caused Jake to go unconscious.

After that, Daniel came running to me.

I started screaming in pain, which made Daniel whimper.

He licked my hand, which made the pain ease a bit.

I slowly calmed down.

The pain slowly went away.

Then, the boys came rushing in.

Jonah saw me on the ground and ran to me, picking me up.

All of them looking at Daniel seriously.

I could see their expressions, it was like 'What happened?!' 'What did you do!?'

I saw Daniel roll his eyes then looked at Jake, which everyone's gazed followed.

I felt sleepy, the pain drained out all my energy,

So that's what I did,

I fell asleep.
