This was the truth.
Winter knew Moon was lying. She wanted this the entire time.
Qibli and Moon— That was how this was meant to be.
"No!" Moon yelled when Winter ran out the door. Or, tried to.
Moon hissed at Qibli and ran to Winter, helping him stand.
"Winter, I didn't choose Qibli!" Moon cried, tears running down her snout.
"You didn't choose me, ether." Winter coughed, snarling. "Leave me alone. See what you got me into? See how charred I am? That's because I can never get away from you."
"Winter, I saved your life!"
"I don't care." He growled. "Let me go."
🌙Moon🌙
"Never," Moon gripped Winter's talons. "Never in my lifetime will I let you go."
They starred at each other, not paying attention to the heartbroken SandWing who darted out of the room.
"I didn't choose Qibli, you have that right." Moon said. "But what you have wrong, is that I did choose you."
Winter's angry (😡) face turned into a loving one.
"I love you, Winter."
"I love you too, Moonwatcher."
