Ivan's POV

A year passed after that day Queen was abducted by Blake. And since then I was not able to leave this island, nasa isa akong isla na tinatawag nilang Vasílissa hanggang ngayon hindi ko parin alam ang ibig sabihin non hindi naman ako nag major sa greek things noong college. Currently kinupkop ako ng isang mangingisda dito sa isla... sya rin ang nag ligtas sa akin nang gabing yon... fortunately nandon sya noong itininapon nila ako sa dagat. I guess its really weird to see a floating container of water in the middle of the sea.

"Tay. Ako na po ngayon ang mangingisda, jan nalamang po kayo sa kubo at magpahinga kayo." Tsaka ko inagaw mula sa kamay nya ang fish net at kinuha ang sumbrero mula sa ulo nya, bago siya itinulak papasok sa kubo. Ayaw pa nga nitong hayaan akong mag isang mangisda buti nalamang at dumating si Nay at sinabing hayaan nalamang ako sa aking gusto. In the end I waved them goodbye.

The sea has been a friend to me.. I wasn't traumatized by water.. I became one with it after that. And being in the sea makes me think about things while floating on it. Its also relaxing so I often help with fishing. Hanggang sa na-eenjoy ko narin ang pangingisda, after I get enough fishes for the day I go for a little swim. 

"Mukhang maganda ang alon ngayon a.. Hindi naman masamang unahin ko muna ang pag langoy." With a smile I placed the fish net on the edge of the boat I'm riding. Pero ng bitawan ko yung net biglang nahulog sa tubig.... mukhang pinapalangoy talaga ako ng tubig. Its a sign that I should take a dip! 

"Alright!" Sigaw ko at hinubad ang aking pang itaas na damit tsaka tumalon sa tubig. Nakita ko kaagad ang net na unti unting lumulubog sa tubig I was about to get it but- as my eyes passed that certain point napatingala ulit ako at nakita ang isang taong hindi ko akalaing makikita ko pa uli. 

Shes staring back at me.. curiosity lazed in her eyes, she didn't seem to make me up as a real living person... kahit ako, akala ko'y nawala na rin sya. I smiled at the thought.. well atleast she was still fine- Pero teka? Totoo ba yan? I was about to go check when I saw her friends on the surface of the water- so its real. 

Should I go to her and tell her I'm alive and safe here? Well obviously.. pero- siguro ngayon nakakita na sya ng ibang lalaki. Maybe that's why she never looked for me. I guess I better take a step back and just let her live her life without me. 

I just dismissed her presence and continued my search for the fish net I originally went for, I admit that I felt the loud thumping of my heart beneath my chest.. but I think we're really not meant to be with each other kaya pilit kameng pinag hihiwalay.. this time hindi na ako magpapakatanga at mag hahabol sakanya. Its up to God whether we can be together.. siguro test 'to- for us to decide what path to chose. And I chose this path.
