Discussing your relationship [with Tom] with Harry and Sam.
They'd be amused by the way Tom treated you. They'd mention how Tom is always trying to protect you from anything and everything that could harm you.
"He was the same with us when we were younger."
Harry would say. The twins would go on telling stories of times when Tom 'protected' them. Your heart would melt at how caring Tom was to his brothers. Sam would tell you about when some guy a few years older than him was going to beat him up, but Tom stepped in and pushed the bully away. Unfortunately, this was before Tom had all his muscles so he got roughed up quite a bit that day. A smile would come across your face at the story.
"He's protective over the people he loves."
Sam would say definitively.
"I think I can say this on behalf of our entire family, we're really happy that you're the one he loves."
Harry's words would cause a grin to take over your face. You would be so glad to not only have a boyfriend but also have a whole second family.
