"EMILY!" She screamed my name as I was running away from her.

"GET BACK HERE NOW!" She was catching up. I looked behind me to see an angry foster mother clutching a tight grab on my arm.

She basically dragged me all the way to back to the orphanage. I was thrown into my bedroom with my foster mother locking the door. She grabbed a belt with small types of spikes going around it.

She flipped me over to where i was facing the ground. I was moving around trying to get out of her firm hold.

"STOP MOVING YOU LITTLE BRAT!" After those words I felt a sting on my back. Multiple stings every where. Everytime she hit me I screamed louder and louder.

"Why are you doing this to me?" I said crying.

"Because." She got up and unlocked the door and walked out acting like nothing happened.

"Emily are you okay? The second oldest asked me as I buried my face into my hands and started crying.

She was 13 and got beaten but not as bad as me.

"Yes." I lied.

Yes its short i know.... But every chapter is going to be short so yeah...
