It was Saturday.

Jinyoung's parents were in Japan for business.

Taking advantage of that, Mark had agreed with Jinyoung to sleep over at the latter's place.

They had planned to meet at the near-by supermarket they had once been, to buy groceries as to make meals for themselves.

With the idea of making a kimchi stew, which Jinyoung was good at, they bought all the ingredients necessary.

It was fun, Jinyoung thought. He had never gone shopping to cook something with someone else other than his mother. It had sometimes been him alone or his mother would buy the ingredients for him.

Jinyoung led almost the whole shopping as Mark didn't know exactly what and how many were needed.

They just needed to buy kimchi, pork, tofu and anchovy stock, and the rest needed were at home.

After getting everything needed for the dish, Mark suggested of buying some fruits for dessert.

"Tangerine and grapes will do."

Finished buying, they paid for them at the counter, and got out of the supermarket.

When they arrived at the house, they headed straight for the kitchen.

"Is there anything I can do?"

"It's not that difficult," Jinyoung thought for a moment, "I can't think of anything. You just watch, hyung."

Mark nodded and leaned against the kitchen counter as Jinyoung wore an apron and washed his hands first.

Afterwards he got down to cooking.

Mark, from where he was, watched Jinyoung's movements and admiration ran through him at seeing how the younger did everything neatly.

"When did you learn it?"

Jinyoung was slicing the green onions and answered without looking up, "When I was in highschool. It's the very first dish I learned from my mother."

"So you can do other dishes as well?"

"Not many. Just a couple of them. But to be honest, I only know how to make them because kimchi stew is the only dish I'm good at making."

Jinyoung laughed slightly, thinking that he was never meant for cooking, except for the one he was currently making.

"You're much better than me though. I can only make ramyun."

As he was supposed to, he watched Jinyoung's actions closely to get some idea of how to make it but often his eyes landed on Jinyoung's hands or how his body moved instead of the process of cooking.

Who could blame him though? He couldn't deny the fact that Jinyoung himself was more captivating to him than that dish.

"Done," said Jinyoung as he removed the pot, in which was hot kimchi stew, from the heat.

Mark only remembered the first steps and the rest went unnoticed as he was busy staring at Jinyoung.

The smell was good though and Mark noticed his stomach reacting to it.

"Now we only need to heat rice before we can have our lunch."

After lunch, it was only a quarter to twelve.

In the living room, Mark could see Jinyoung's photos on the wall. They were of different ages, a baby, a child, and a highschool student.

Mark was running his fingers softly over the photos in the frames when Jinyoung got out of the kitchen with the plates of tangerines and grapes they had bought.

In all these photos, Jinyoung was cute with bright smiles, and when Mark looked at Jinyoung, who was now placing the plates on the table, he could still see the younger self in Jinyoung.

"Hyung, come here. I've prepared the fruits."

While having them, they reminisced about their childhood memories and laughed at each other's silliness.

When darkness fell, they had dinner with kimchi stew left from lunch.

"Let's watch some movies," Jinyoung said, after doing the dishes.

"Movies?"

"Yes, two movies, I've bought but haven't watched yet."

"Okay."

They seated themselves in front of TV after inserting the disc into the DVD player.

They were one Korean movie and one English movie.

The couch was long enough for both of them to sit comfortably but Jinyoung scooted closer to Mark when the movie started.

It was cold, and although the heater was on, it even felt warmer to be close to each other with body heat radiating.

The movies were interesting but in the middle of the second one, Jinyoung fell asleep leaning against Mark with his head laid on the older's shoulder.

With Jinyoung being suspiciously so still, Mark tilted his head and smiled at the sight of Jinyoung sleeping so soundly on his shoulder.

The movie was interesting but Mark switched TV off.

He removed Jinyoung's head carefully not to awake the younger and carried him on his back to Jinyoung's room, which was not very far.

He laid the younger on the bed and tucked him under the duvet.

Unconsciously feeling the movements, Jinyoung stirred in his sleep, which Mark found so cute.

His eyes followed the features of Jinyoung's innocent face in his sleep - his eyelids, eyelashes, nose and then stopped at those lips, which were plump and seemed to be daring Mark to do something with.

Without a second thought, Mark inched closer and planted a kiss on them.

When Mark pulled away, he smiled again at Jinyoung, who stirred slightly again in his sleep.

Mark drew the duvet to Jinyoung's shoulders and left the room as he was supposed to sleep in the guest room.
